I would not have booked here if I would have known I was going to pay $85 for a half up half down pony tail. Second my curls didn't even make it until I put my dress on! It looked fine when I left the salon, but it did not last. Thank goodness my mom brought her curling iron and hair spray with her so we were able to save my hair for my wedding! I called my stylist and asked if she or someone else could come fix my hair but she refused. She told it that it would be my responsibility to find (and pay) someone else to fix my hair. Her boss was supposed to call and she never did. This was the only thing I regret about my wedding day. Save yourself the stress and tears. Find another salon for the biggest, most important day of your life. They obviously don't care about it here.

And I found that my haircut looked acceptable when the first stylist was finished. I then went to the next stylist who washed my hair and followed that up with the shine process. The stylist assured me,that even though my hair is somewhat curly, I would still see a difference in my hair's appearance. I did not. I then went back to the first stylist to be blow dried and styled.Other than asking me about the direction of my part, there were no questions about how I wanted it styled. I was less than thrilled at the result of her styling but figured that I could fix it at home. The real shock of my experience came at the cash register. I had already anticipated what I would be paying, since the prices of each procedure were identified on the web site. However I had not anticipated the amount of the tip which was included in the total amount. I am aware that the amount that a customer tips for services is based on the total amount of the services received. However I was, in no way , particularly overwhelmed by the services I received . I do not appreciate being held captive to the tip amount already established by a business.I believe in tipping based on the satisfaction of services received. I also believe that ,based on the amount that this business charges for each service , there should be some level of guaranteed customer satisfaction .

Granted the stylist was new which I can be…read moreunderstanding of, however when I contacted the salon (via email) informing them of the extremely uneven cut, both in overall length and the layers length (1-1 1/2 inch difference creating a very distinguished shelf along with "strings" of long hair and very bulky) By email, I received no response what so ever, I didn't request any type of refund of the sort, but it would have been considerate to at least acknowledge the situation or even offer to fix it, now I must search for someone to fix this mess and lose even more length to try and even it out. Not happy about this considering I've been growing my hair out for a year and finally took the risk of a new stylist. This business does not deserve even one star. It was probably the worst manicure that I have EVER…read morereceived, even including the ones that I have done myself (and I am not a professional). The employees were not personable at all. No one introduced themselves. I was asked to hurry and sit down before I was given a chance to decide what I wanted done. I was asked how long I wanted them cut, and I responded that I would like them long. She proceeded to cut them at one of the shortest settings that the tool would allow. Before I was allowed to see them, she started to put the acrylic cover on them, so I had no idea that they were so short. She did not show me any designs for the paint on the nails, and when I asked about it she started drawing a design on my nails. When I looked at the completed result, I received a full set of crooked, poorly designed, and extremely short acrylic nails. The business did not offer to do anything about it when I mentioned these complaints (and I must say that I did it much more nicely than I wanted to), other than "5 dollar off next month". These nails are for prom, so there is no next month. And there will be no more me going to this salon either. When I was going to pay for it I was also informed that the sign was incorrect. It reads "acrylic nails- $25". The actual price is $30 (because it is "$5 extra for French tip"... what other kind of acrylic is there????) and an extra $10 for sloppily drawn on designs. My advice would be to not go in to this place for anything. The employees are unpleasant and antipathetic, and there are many better, more honest, kinder places to go in Clarion.
