Second, there a a PT who is so ear piercingly loud that you need earplugs, even in another room. If you are going deaf, this is the place to go. Third, it is a bit of a dump. I don't think the table they put me on was wiped down and the pillow they used did not have a fresh case or paper over it. The whole place is crumbly (literally cement crumbling to the floor) and dingy -- the sort of place where you expect to see roaches, centipedes, rats... or ghosts. Okay, yes, it is an old building. You'd think the landlord would do a better job of keeping it up. A fresh coat of paint? I hope so. Replace the carpet? If you go, expect to drive back and forth several times not finding it. The signage is below view, hidden by parked cars. You should know, they do not do ice or heat or stim or dry needling, those typical PT modalities, which help recovery. The good new is that they can get you in sooner than the other places, though you may just have to work with the assistant. If you want pilates and exercise, go for it. If you are in a wheel chair, avoid it. A wheel walker... be very, very careful. It is possible that because they are new, they plan to fix a lot of the issues with the building, perhaps put in a ramp, paint, etc. I hope. The PT I saw was nice enough. But nothing like Heather Roberts from Bodywise who was amazing. She retired like so many of the excellent PTs and Drs in town.

From the very beginning, he truly listened--showing both compassion and genuine concern for what I was going through. What stood out most was his ability to look beyond just my surgical history. While helping me manage my post-operative spine issues, he recognized signs of something more systemic and guided me to seek further evaluation. Because of his insight, I was able to see a rheumatologist and ultimately receive a diagnosis of rheumatoid arthritis. Thanks to Dr. Sanchez, I not only gained a clearer understanding of my condition, but I also began addressing the root of my ongoing symptoms. His thoroughness, empathy, and dedication made a difficult journey much more manageable, and I'm incredibly grateful for his care.

The pain was so intense that I could not wait the six weeks to see the doctor thru ER, so I called Dr. Bobby Sanchez because I knew that he would help much sooner than the conventional Drs. could. Previously I had seen him for a torn meniscus, and his help was focused with amazing results. His techniques for me in both situations were not the more common "snaping a joint" but focused on muscle manipulation or "ART" (active release techniques. For the current problem, he used acupuncture and "ART" which ultimately gave me relief. Most importantly, when I left his office I was much looser and more comfortable. Over the next few days the pain dissipated noticeably. After the third visit, I felt like I had control of the situation, but have booked a fourth visit because my body had compensated for the pain in my hip and leg and I wanted to be sure that I was correctly aligned. Dr. Bobby Sanchez has a definite feel for his profession. His charming demeanor, and handsome appearance, gave me instant confidence in being treated by him. His gentle but firm and correcting touch may not be for everyone, but he certainly helped me several times with problems that I now understand needed more than a quick snap. In addition to his excellent service, he is LGBTQ friendly. Currently, he is located inside a really cool Gym and parking is easy.

Sometimes, life demands a bit of a sit-down to write something which does justice to something…read moreextraordinary. I'm an academic and musician based in London and Hong Kong over the last few years, and was in Santa Fe to support my partner's new opera. But this review is not about the opera! As a keen runner training for the Amsterdam Marathon in October, I found myself sidelined by persistent issues in my lower back and legs. So frustrating not being able to run! Looking online, there was one practitioner (Ethan Hope) who I immediately thought could help me based on his approach and the reviews I read. Alas, when I wrote, he (very kindly) said that he was fully booked. Oh well ... Luckily, though, he had a cancellation, and he wrote to me immediately, and I was able to visit. Upon arrival, I was immediately impressed by the treatment room -- the nicest, most spacious and well-equipped physiotherapy space I've seen. Also, Ethan's open, curious, and warm welcome put me instantly at ease. I ended up having two sessions (thanks to Ethan squeezing me in early the very next morning, recognising together how much his approach was helping in the 1st session). His method is truly holistic and detailed. Ethan doesn't just address symptoms; he's intent on uncovering the underlying causes. Through insightful questions and observation, he pieces together a picture of your movement, posture, and habits-- literally from head to toe. Ethan employed a range of hands-on techniques, including the use of belts, towels, and movement-based strategies, to relieve symptoms and address the underlying issues. Over two sessions, he addressed issues in my feet, ankles, hips, back, and neck--each given careful, individualised attention. What sets Ethan apart is the care he takes in empowering you for long-term improvement. I left armed with personalised videos, annotated exercise diagrams, various exercise bands, and a much deeper understanding of my strengths and what needed attention. Most importantly, I left each session feeling SO GOOD--pain-free for the rest of the day and optimistic that my marathon goal was back within reach. In essence, you receive the value of several high-quality sessions wrapped into one comprehensive and deeply valuable experience. I would enthusiastically recommend Ethan -- and Hope Therapeutics, Santa Fe -- to anyone who wants to understand their body, how it changes over time, and unlock new levels of wellness.

Ethan conducted a thorough assessment- pinpointing restrictions and weakness in my hips and limited mobility in my shoulders and upper back. His hands-on treatment was gentle yet incredibly effective. Beyond immediate relief, Ethan designed a personalized exercise regimen targeting my specific issues. These exercises played a pivotal role in strengthening and improving my overall mobility. In just a few days, I noticed a remarkable enhancement in my range of motion. I felt taller, more open, and more mobile than I have in years- and this was only after 2 sessions with him! Unlike many other healthcare professionals, Ethan takes the time to really listen and conduct an extremely thorough history to gain an understanding of my past injuries/aches/pains and he wanted to know what my specific goals were with respect to the activities that I enjoy and would like to continue being able to do as I get older. The true testament to Ethan's expertise came when I resumed physical activities like skiing. The positive impact was undeniable--I was carving more effectively than ever before. Ethan's holistic approach and personalized care have made a significant difference in my physical well-being, leading to a positive transformation. I'm grateful for Ethan's exceptional skills and I highly recommend his services.

Beware when you sign up for Solcare classes…read more I told Ekemba that I wanted to pay for each class at a time. I had told him that my mother was sick in Massachusetts and that I might have to leave suddenly - that's why I wanted a pay-as-you-go plan. He tricked me into signing up for multiple classes that I never used. Ekemba - If YOU REMEMBER correctly, I told you that my mother was ill and I might have to leave Santa Fe at a moments notice. That is why I wanted the pay-per-session. I was not fully "committed" to paying for sessions I might not be able to attend. I did not want a program. As for not answering your phone calls (which has nothing to do with anything) I was pre-occupied with personal issues. Especially my mother being very ill. I'm sure that you can understand. Unfortunately, you were not at the top of my priority list. To summarize, I told you that I wanted to pay per class because I had a very sick mother. Why would I want to sign up for a series of courses if I knew that I might need to attend to her. I asked for a refund of my money of $1,800, he refused to pay me. He is a con-man. So be careful when you sign any documents with Ekemba at Solcare, Santa Fe NM. BTW - It's Steven with a "v" which you would have seen if you had fully read my review.
