You can see the ticket on the dash, but the angle hides it behind the wiper
    Amanda M.

This company is a complete FRAUD. I very clearly had my permit displayed on my dash. They intentionally and maliciously took pictures from an angle that the ticket is hidden behind the windshield wiper. I will be disputing even though based on previous reviews, it will be futile. Do not fall for the trap of parking in one of these lots. You will end up paying more.

Photo from THEIR ticket proof. Large ciircle is my..wait for it.. receipt. The second is where the ticket was.

If only I could give ZERO stars. This parking lot is shady in its ticketing practices. Not only do they ticket you when you have paid, but they make excuses AND you have to MAIL.. yes mail.. your dispute in. When calling or emailing, you only get Irma who does not read or address your concerns. If you call, you only get Irma who does not listen to or address your concerns. You get upset and speak to a supervisor who could care less. They both stated their attendant couldn't see/read the receipt in my windshield. It was less than a foot from where you put the ticket envelope. I already emailed pictures to Irma "Well I didn't see those and you still have to mail in your dispute." The same thing happened to my friend and when she spoke with the payment company (different from Priority Parking) they said this happens ALL THE TIME. Its like they hope you don't dispute so they can make money off of you. They kindly ONLY charge $40 rather than $60 though if you pay within 30 days (which you can do ONLINE). These people are frauds.

Overcharging for exaggeration of parking time and purpose. Parking on the street will be less expensive, poor customer service.

I think they are horribly run. I am always getting an invoice when my parking is clearly paid. Good thing I keep my receipts.

This parking garage charges by the half hour on weekdays. They have a Starbucks at the corner of this parking garage. There's also a LaBou attacked to the garage, to the left of the exit.

It's often closed to public parking due to special events, but it's really conveniently located in the middle of downtown since it's at the corner of 10th and L St, directly across the north side of the entrance of the Capitol bldg. It's a decently maintained parking structure although it's seen better days. There's been more littering and general griminess it seems, but it's still pretty good generally. The first 2 floors are usually filled up by the time I am there looking for a spot, but there are generally lots of spots open starting on 3rd floor, and the elevators work well and it's not too bad to walk down the stairs. However, the stairs are metal and they can feel kind of wobbly at times. The latest news is that the City of Sacramento has raised prices to address a $66 million budget deficit, so they've raised half-hour rates to $2 (up from $1.50) and increased penalties for lost tickets to $30-$37. All in all, a convenient location and decently well-kept parking garage.

It's usually less busy than garages closer to the Capitol for obvious reasons, and the price is a bit lower too. For example, the weekday rates (6am to 5pm) were $1.50 each half hour (now $2 per 30 minutes since July 2025). Weekday Max (6 a.m. - 5 p.m.) is now $30, Weekend Day Max (6 a.m. - 5 p.m.) is $7 which is quite reasonable and Weekend Evening Max (5 p.m. to 6 a.m.) is also $7. Also, for those who have electric vehicles, there's free charging, although of course you have to pay to get into the garage, but the free charging is a nice perk. Not to mention besides the chargers that are on the 2nd floor, which are more often taken first, there are chargers on the rooftop, and those are usually available. Of course in hot or super cold or wet weather it's kind of a bummer to have to park out in the elements, but hey at least you find a spot and you can charge your car for free since you've already paid for parking. All in all, this garage is not bad, it's a bit of a trek to the middle of downtown, but it's really not too far from where all the action/events are at/near the Capitol, so this is a good and reliable parking option.
