I had a wonderful experience with Arlene at ABCO Art. I brought in an older St. John's University…read morediploma plaque that had become damaged around the edges, expecting that I would probably need to spend quite a bit to have it repaired or reframed. Arlene could not have been nicer or more helpful. She carefully looked at the diploma, explained my options, and rather than simply trying to sell me an expensive framing job, she actually called St. John's University to find out whether I could obtain a replacement diploma. She then suggested a much less expensive framing option that would solve the problem beautifully. I was particularly impressed by her honesty. She could easily have sold me the more expensive option, but instead took the time to find a solution that would save me a considerable amount of money. That kind of personal service is increasingly rare. Arlene was friendly, knowledgeable, patient, and genuinely interested in helping me find the best solution rather than the most expensive one. I would absolutely recommend ABCO Art and will go back to them for any framing needs I have in the future.

The quality of the t-shirts was more than we bargained for given the cost. Not only will we continue to use them for promotional shirts, but also for employee shirts. Everyone we dealt with during the process of art approval to printing was extremely kind, helpful, and patient. It's nice to be treated like a valued customer. That seems to be something that is becoming more and more scarce as technology advances and people become numbers communicating with machines. We highly recommend ACU PLUS. Do yourself a favor and do not waste your time or money at this place. There is no shortage of…read moretrophy shops that can handle basic engraving and treat customers with a shred of professionalism--this is not one of them. I've used Trophies By Jay before, but this experience was so bad it permanently ended any future business. I dropped off two fantasy championship trophies for plaque engraving, which should be one of the simplest, most routine jobs imaginable. After an entire week of complete silence, I called for an update and was told, word for word, "Fantasy trophies are not the priority right now. I'll get to them when I can." No timeline. No apology. Just blatant dismissal. I gave it more time and called again four business days later, only to receive the exact same response. When I pressed for an ETA, I was told there was none and that he maybe could get to it by the end of the following week--nearly three weeks after drop-off for basic engraving. At that point, it was clear my order was never going to be treated with even minimal importance. Rather than taking responsibility or communicating like a professional, the owner became openly hostile and combative on the phone, telling me to come pick up the trophies so he "didn't have to deal with" me asking for updates. When I arrived to retrieve them and calmly stated I would be leaving a review, he had a full meltdown--stormed into the back room, started yelling, and ordered me out of the store like a child throwing a tantrum. Yes, the physical work is passable--but that is completely overshadowed by the astonishing level of arrogance, disrespect, and contempt shown toward paying customers. The owner clearly does not value people's time, does not understand customer service, and should not be running a business that requires any interaction with the public. If you value professionalism, communication, or even basic human decency, take your business anywhere else. This was hands down one of the worst customer service experiences I've ever had, and I will never return. I strongly recommend others avoid this place entirely.
