Then last night while I was hundreds of miles out of town I got a call from someone named James who said he works for Sunbelt and wanted to come do the work this morning at 8 am. I informed him that I could return by 11 am as I had a very long drive ahead. He agreed to get started and I would be there by 11 to pay him. We discussed in detail what I wanted done. The original quote also had the exact job written on it. I start my 8+hour drive home and make it there by 10:30 am. No one is here! No one answers the phones. No one returned my voicemails! I am livid! Exhausted from my drive, leaving behind a family emergency to have this tree work taken care of. Disgraceful customer service. If any of the "owners" would like to contact me. You have my number.

Joe met with the neighbors who share in the oak's overhang to clean up the debris that happened over the fence. Joe's stump grinder guy showed up the next day without any incident. Here and gone in 30 minutes or less. Will keep Joe's number in case my awesome canary island palm doesn't survive the weevil infestation, or is it a fungus it is presumed to have? This removable would be a big job that I'm confident Joe would get it done right.

The estimate was extremely fair. Our estimate was higher because we have a two story home and no real access for machinery to come into the yard to trim the trees. We had a team of four complete the job with two (including the owner) up on the roof manually trimming the oak branches. They came around 9:15AM and finished the job within 3 hours. They were even kind enough to clean out the gutters for us -- which i cannot even begin to tell you what a help that was. Everyone was extremely prompt and professional from start to finish. I will never use any other company again.

Having just purchased a vacant lot in the city of Edgewood, we wanted to get a head start on…read morepreparing the land for new home design. Although the vacant lot was mostly clear, we had several sizeable decaying laurel oaks, camphors, and tall queen palms to remove still. One of the large laurel oaks had fallen against a beautiful live oak that was *not* to be harmed. Also, the two trees were near power lines as well, making for a tricky removal. I contacted several tree services that had arborists on staff since our city requires a tree removal permit requiring an arbor report. Most of the arborists I met we friendly, but only one was *clearly* outstanding and won our business immediately (we didn't even get all the quotes yet). Sometimes you just have a "gut" feeling that this is the company you want to go with, and Steve Ogden from Central Florida Arborcare was our man. Steve is an incredibly friendly and knowledgable arborist that emanates the feeling of trust. I had read many great reviews about CFA, and they have been around a long time. Now on to the job! Removing trees (properly that is) takes a bit of pre-work as well. Many cities go to great lengths to protect the landscape in their boundaries and rightfully so. CFA made it easy to obtain the proper permits and approval from our city, and this is the advantage of choosing a service that has a full-time arborist aboard as permitting required an arbor report. A week later, the crew arrived fully prepared with all the different trucks and equipment to handle the job correctly. The team was amiable and quickly established the feeling that they were there to do the job requested and process any requests. I made sure not to micro-manager (please, don't do that), and in return, I felt like I was part of the crew. It was a big job, but they handled it perfectly! I'm sure a couple more trees will need to trimmed or removed on once the house plans are complete, and I *WILL* be using them! Lastly, I want to thank ALL the people I got to work with at CFA, including Steve, Sheila, Cassidy, John, Lee, and the rest of the crew that were so busy that I didn't get their names (sorry). Please make sure to call CFA for an estimate. You won't be disappointed!

We had them remove 3 dead, but still standing trees, the fallen tree and an additional dead limb that was looming over our home. They chipped all the brush, cut the trees for fire wood, raked the entire yard, used a blower to clean the driveway and really left our property in beautiful shape!! They're a Christian owned company and carry $5million in liability and workman's compensation so no risk to the homeowner. I also love that they didn't try to up sell us any unnecessary services, but instead listened to our concerns and addressed our needs. I'll definitely be using them again in the future!
