I unfortunately was injured in a car accident. I was referred to Princeton orthopedic as the local place to go. To be fair, it seems to be a busy and well organized practice. My interactions with the front desk was always helpful and informative. They also handled the covid situation well. They chose the physician who they felt would suit my injury best and placed me with Dr. Michael Grenis. Because of the nature of the injury, I was squeezed in for an appointment pretty quickly. With my first visit, Dr. Grenis seemed short with me and didn't explain anything to me. I chalked it up to being squeezed into his assuming busy schedule. I was examined and x-rayed and outfitted with a new splint. The physician assistant was warm and attentive. My second appointment was not as pleasant. Aside from the fracture in my wrist, I had a lot of pain in my arm that was noticeably bruised and swollen. It kept me up at night and hurt much more than my wrist. He didn't mention anything about it at the initial appointment aside from that it wasn't broken. So when I returned, I asked him to check it again because it was causing so much pain. Dr. Grenis' barked at me 'what do you want surgery??' 'It's a hematoma'. I seek a professionals advice because I'm not a doctor. I never understood what a hematoma was, nor had he mentioned that that's what it was. Nothing was explained to me what it was, about treatment for it, or what I could do for the pain. When he returned to the room I think he realized that he crossed a line and tried to amend his error. Too late. His behavior was intimidating and undermining. Went to Princeton orthopedics last summer first by PA named Steve Fry I told him I had a problem with my right knee. He insisted that it was my back and not my knee. He told me it was sciatica. I told him I had sciatica before and this does It feels like an knee injury. I I returned a second time and saw a doctor Angela Sackheim she told me she thinks steve was right that it was my back. I told her it was not my back. It was my knee once again I was ignored. She took an x-ray of my knee and then then told me it was not my knee and she wanted to schedule epidural in my back but told me she's gonna be on vacation for the next week I was in excruciating pain. It was very hard for me to walk. I was not offered a crutch or some sort of brace or anything. I knew it was my knee and not my back. I went somewhere else and got an MRI of my knee and had two meniscus tears in my knee. all they had to do was listen to me and order an MRI of my it would've saved me a lot of pain and I could've fallen. I am a senior citizen. please be very, very, very careful about where you go to for care something doesn't feel right listen to your own instincts and not people who are telling you something that makes absolutely no sense. What has happened to Princeton Orthopedics? My family have been patients for over 15 years and in the past few years, have seen a slow decline in the quality. They used to have very pleasant and helpful front desk staff. Now, they are surly (Monroe location especially) and are almost nasty when asked for help. They have kiosks to check in where your ID and credit card are scanned. There are older patients who aren't familiar with computers and I actually watched a few people yelled at! What type of customer service is that? It now takes over 10 minutes on hold to make an appointment. Really? You may even be transferred to a different schedule who never picks up and he has an attitude if you ever get through. Lastly, the cleanliness has gone away. It is a medical office! The Monroe office floor is dirty like it hasn't been cleaned in a long time. Old dried out alcohol pads, dirt, bandages with dark, dried stains, gross. I am looking elsewhere, goodbye Princeton Orthopedics. You used to feel good going from soup to nuts, the desk to the doctor. Now, something has changed. I miss just a few years ago. read more

First off, to get an appointment 2 days out of calling for an orthopedic office is AMAZING! My appointment was 5:30 pm, was asked to come in 15 minutes early (usual procedure) and not only was I TAKEN at 5:15, I was in and out, xrays and visit with the doctor in a half hour! That's the kind of doctor appointment you want. I saw Dr. Brosnick who was attentive, compassionate, reassuring and answering all my questions. I went to princeton orthopedic due severe hip pain. I saw Dr Culp. My first meeting with him he said "I believe your pain is due to your back but I will order an MRI to make sure your hip is not injured. However if it is your back you are "out to greener pastures and all that". I was stunned he actually said that to my face. I knew my pain was not my back. I'm well acquainted with both back and hip pain and theres a difference. I went for the MRI and received a call from the PA saying I needed to come in because there was a tear in the labrum cartilage in my hip. I made an appointment. When I saw Dr Culp he informed me I had a tear. He also stated he didn't know why I was in so much pain because it wasn't that bad. He then said "unfortunately there is no sports surgeon on the planet that will do that repair because you are too old. You just won't recuperate. In 5-15 years you'll come back for a hip replacement." When I asked what I was supposed to do between now and then his answer was pain management. His callous ageism was astounding. He literally just wrote me off. I'm 60 and to him I was "out to greener pastures". As a result Dr. Culp will forever be known by a different 4 letter name in my household. Thankfully I'm not a person who accepts your life is over, out to pasture kind of answer. I got the written report from the staff and by the way I also have a tear in my glute which he failed to mention. I suppose because it was insignificant to him. Not his realm of medicine so it didn't matter. My health. My quality of life didn't matter. I went and got a second opinion with a sports orthopedic. He was stunned by what Dr. Culp said. He said I absolutely was not too old. He said as we age the cartilage thins but that doesn't mean it's not doable or necessary to do. He sent me to someone who specializes in just that kind of hip repair. My surgery is being scheduled for the Summer. What if I just accepted Dr Culps dx? How many people has he dismissed and they didn't take it further? I would have lived the next decade or so suffering while waiting for the inevitable hip replacement. The moral if the story: one drs opinion is not everything. ALWAYS question and ALWAYS get a second and even third opinion. read more

Made an appointment for two weeks out, but was told I could see the PA during their walk in hours (from 5-8). Got there shortly before 5 and was told to take a seat as they don't start walk-ins until 5 (never took my name). Once 5PM hit, everyone got up and hovered over the front desk. Stood in line, hoping to be in the order of arriving and after waiting about 15 mins, was told they were booked and couldn't take my daughter as a walk-in. I made an appointment with one of the doctors and got it fairly quickly . No one called to ask me anything regarding COVID-19. No text or even automated message. There was no mention about calling from the parking lot when I got there. I walked into the building and no one stopped me at the door to take my temperature. I went up to the office and again not one question regarding COVID-19. There were way too many people in the waiting room for my comfort and of course one person with their mask below their nose. I mean c'mon we are still in a global pandemic!? Good thing was I was called in rather quickly and when the dr came in I mentioned it to him and he kind of brushed it off, like oh I thought we had a meeting about that is and they were still going to screen people. I had total shoulder replacement surgery in November 2020. Dr. Rossy was my surgeon. I was extremely nervous since I went under general anesthesia only one other time many years ago. Dr. Rossy has the best bedside manner, and made me feel he and his team were going to take good care of me. They definitely did take good care of me. It's been 6 weeks and I can move my arm more than he expected this early. I start physical therapy next week. I would recommend Dr. Rossy to anyone needing orthopaedic surgery. A shout out to Nancy (Dr. Rossy's surgery scheduler) She went above and beyond with mri scripts, emails, phone calls and even when I was a wreck, she helped me with everything to do with planning the surgery. Also a great experience with the entire staff, making appointments, changing them, checking in and out and just about everything went smoothly. On another note, I had a one night stay at Princeton Penn Medical Center. It's a great hospital experience. The nurses were great from pre-surgery to recovery to the orthopaedic floor. Except for today. I have been going here for over 20 years. Today was a first. Went to their Robbinsville office. I got there on time as always. Got in no problem. Spoke to the initial nurse about my issue and she required me to get a hip X-ray. ok so 28 mins go by. Dr walks in and as a waiting patient I let him know that it never takes this long for a doctor to see me. mind you my apt was at one and he came in at 1:58. I always let the dr know if about waiting times if they are lengthy it's good for them to know. Well his first comment was did you want to reashedule maybe that would be better for you. WHAT! Who says that. I continued being nice he asked me about what was wrong. I continued to tell him he says well what are you here for because I can only bill you for one thing. He had the X-ray in front of him it was for my right hip. Bedside manner terrible. He was flustered because I said something about the waiting time. I could tell by his mannerisms. I am totally a people reader. I will never step foot in that office again or ask for him. Sure they were busy sure things happen. can't he just be in flustered and say sorry you had to wait so long we are really busy. Something like that. He needs to be schooled better. Horrible customer service apart from half-ass appointments with the PA on staff. MRI department sent pre-certification to the wrong office after I gave them complete address of the MRI office I would like to use after waiting A MONTH FOR AN MRI PRESCRIPTION. Prescription was also made out for someone else, not me. No sense of urgency at this place, needed x-rays sent to MRI office and they waited 5 days to call me back and then said my photos would not reach the MRI office in time for my MRI appointment. 5 days is unheard of. They would have gotten there on time if they got back to me in a timely fashion. I was then asked if I could go pick them up which would add an hour to my commute as I am a college student in the middle of finals. Totally ridiculous, this place has put me through too much stress. After having surgery which left me with almost no use of my right hand I have been harassed and hounded about a medical bill for a charge that occurred as a result of inept billing on the part of Princeton orthopedics. I am being double billed for copays that I disputed. I spoke with amelia in their billing office AGAIN this morning regarding this mistake and now, despite the fact that this charge is from 2014 which I have been disputing, they will not even schedule an appt! They are refusing treatment to a patient for the minuscule cost of a copay! Even though I don't owe them this money and have had this issue with them prior to issue I offered to pay them the money when I come in for treatment. They still refused to schedule me. Beware that any treatment in this office will result in you being billed for the same charges offer and over again and even providing proof of payment won't do you any good whatsoever. It's a scam on their part to say you didn't pay the copay which they always collect prior to being allowed to see the doctor at your appointment time. They then double bill you in a blatant effort to take as much money as they can for services already paid for. read more
