Dr. Rossy has the best bedside manner, and made me feel he and his team were going to take good care of me. They definitely did take good care of me. It's been 6 weeks and I can move my arm more than he expected this early. I start physical therapy next week. I would recommend Dr. Rossy to anyone needing orthopaedic surgery. A shout out to Nancy (Dr. Rossy's surgery scheduler) She went above and beyond with mri scripts, emails, phone calls and even when I was a wreck, she helped me with everything to do with planning the surgery. Also a great experience with the entire staff, making appointments, changing them, checking in and out and just about everything went smoothly. On another note, I had a one night stay at Princeton Penn Medical Center. It's a great hospital experience. The nurses were great from pre-surgery to recovery to the orthopaedic floor. Also I can't thank the anesthesiologist JP enough for his magic. Thank you Dr. Rossy and Princeton Orthopaedics for an all around successful and easy experience

I'm writing to express my extreme disappointment with Jennifer in the State Road Physical Therapy…read moreDepartment of Princeton Orthopedics. I saw Jennifer for therapy with my total knee replacement. During my Jennifer spent @ 2 minutes with me. Roughly 1 1/2 minutes were spent doing paperwork, leaving 30 seconds for her to force my knee back 3 times. I wasted 6 weeks with her before switching therapists. I now see Sue at the Princeton Road office and she is fabulous. Night and day. Because I wasted 6 weeks with Jennifer I am very behind in my knee flexibility. I suffer from severe plantar fasciitis because I still don't have full leg extension after 16 weeks. I wasted hundreds of dollars and valuable time with Jennifer. I should have been told by someone at Princeton Orthopedics to go to a different therapist when I told the doctor I was planning to see Jennifer. Apparently it is common knowledge to avoid her. It would have been nice if the doctor had been honest and told me this information!

I whole-heartedly recommend NJ Spine & Wellness in East Brunswick!…read moreThe first appointment, I hobbled in with a cane, barely able to walk upright. After talking with the doctor, they took X-rays and sent me back for physical therapy (Amy) and chiropractics (Nick). They both spent a good deal of time with me. I woke up that night for the bathroom and was amazed that I was able to hop out of bed with no problems and was able to stand tall. It only took one visit for them to re-align my spine and had me feeling better. I continued for my follow-up visits to make sure everything was well and now I can continue life pain-free! They took X-rays, told me I had a fracture, and sent me for an MRI at University Radiology after endless confusion and back-and-forth over scheduling mistakes. What I later discovered -- only after seeing a highly respected wrist surgeon for a second opinion because I was still in severe pain -- was unbelievable. The MRI disc they gave me was blank. Blank. Thankfully there was at least a written report. The specialist then informed me I never had a fracture in the first place and that Alliance had put the wrong cast on my arm. According to him, the cast actually caused further damage to my wrist and forearm. He also told me that if I had followed Alliance's recommendation and continued into their physical therapy program, I could have ended up with permanent damage or even been crippled. What frustrates me most is that this feels less like patient care and more like an assembly line operation: diagnosis, cast, physical therapy, repeat. A factory. They even contacted me after my first review and asked me to remove it, and because I try to be fair, I did. That was a mistake. At my recent six-week follow-up, my surgeon again confirmed the cast had significantly worsened my condition. I am right-handed and have now lost the normal use of my right hand, wrist, and forearm since the end of January. Cortisone shots have failed, and now surgery is potentially next. People rely on reviews to make important medical decisions. My friends asked why I removed my original review because they use Yelp and Google reviews to decide where to seek treatment. They were right. Patients deserve to know about experiences like this before trusting someone with their health.I sincerely hope no one else goes through what I did.

Stethoscopes are decidedly old school as doctors stare into laptops occasionally coming up for air to discuss symptoms and diagnoses with the enthusiasm of a metronome. You never forget for a moment that you're "on the clock." The good news is that procedures and testing that were once outsourced are now conducted in-house with most results available next day. Maybe there's something to be said for efficiency after all. Medicine's brave new world is alive and well here. I just might get used to it. Four 3-D stars.

I've seen the best and worst of physical therapy centers. This is an average experience. This place…read moreis not a fraud, but also not consistent. They have many therapists so your experience will depend mainly on who you get. You may hit the jackpot, or bankrupt. A lot of equipment but a lot of it is for strengthening Rutgers athletes who are young and bounce back quickly. They seem best at strengthening, not so super at correcting specific problems. Maybe I had bad luck recently but I was rather disappointed with how my experience went. Overall a bit too "mass production" for me as a patient. I would say that if you feel your condition isn't improving, go ahead and make a change to another therapist or facility. You need to make yourself priority #1, #2, #3 and every number thereafter. I also note that while this place is, again, not outright fraudulent like some places, they charge a LOT. They tend to pad the bill with things like heat and ice and non-therapist supervised exercises in order to max the insurance payments. If you don't pay anything that's your business, but if you care about the principle or pay a portion of your bill, realize that the bill here is going to be quite a lot... like several TIMES what other places charge for equal or better treatment. I also agree with the reviewer who said you may have to deal with somewhat abrasive people at the front. Billing is also CHAOTIC. In that respect you are in the end dealing with a huge hospital business (Saint Peters) rather than a small physical therapy outfit.
