I was super impressed with the artist/teacher because working with small children is not for the weak and she was teaching a class to 4 to 11 years old. The class was for a monster painting, and she offered two different samples, while still allowing the kids to make their own decisions and be creative. All the kids and adults had a great time. For kids event there is no snacking, which is understandable but the kids can have a drink if they choose to bring one. The teacher also offered free painting that they had left over, and most kids left with one or two cute painting they can add to their room. Overall a great experience and the price was great for families with multiple kids.

I have just completed a huge project-moving my home movies in VHS form to DVDs. My children are…read morenow 28 and 29 years old and they both attended many classes at Workshops in Dance from about the ages of 8 to 18. Although I realized what a great dance education they received at the time, watching all of the videotapes over the past few weeks, I received a different perspective. I was able to see the gifts that my girls received in being mentored by the wonderful WID teachers. I observed how their confidence grew from year to year, how they learned to communicate through movement, how they were able to perform in many dances as they matured as dancers which gave them such a boost in self esteem. These classes helped my daughters develop friendships, gave them exposure to competition and in all made them better rounded kids. So, thank you to Karin and Judy particularly for having such a hand in my daughters maturity and for making them feel so good about themselves as they matured from adolescents to teenagers and to adults. Thank you for being partners in their development! Workshops in Dance was home to us for several years and home is where you can be yourself!

Tickets were $45 and there are two attractions included within the ticket - Woods Have Eyes and Blackout. The line for each attraction was 40 minutes to an hour, so I would definitely recommend getting there earlier in the evening for less of a wait. However, they space out each group pretty well, so that the scares aren't spoiled by the screams by the group directly ahead. We did the Woods Have Eyes first and we appreciated the fact that the trail was lengthier so that the wait was worth it. We thoroughly enjoyed the various settings and environments we were put through and it was definitely scary. For Blackout, one member of the group is given a glowstick as a source of light for the duration of the trail. This one was significantly shorter and we wish there were more scares as there were many missed opportunities in the dark. Overall, we had a great time at Oasis Island of Terror and it is better than some of the other haunted attractions in New Jersey!

To make matters worse, they're allowing every single customer who has paid for the VIP tickets to go through, leaving us stuck in line.
