What really stood out was how much care they took with our nails and toenails. They didn't rush through the service and paid attention to every detail. The massages were amazing and very relaxing as well. I also got an eyebrow wax, and it came out perfect not too thin and not too thick, just the right shape for my face. Overall, excellent customer service and quality work. I highly recommend this salon and will definitely be coming back!

Also super quick service - under 1.5 hours. Yet they always make my nails look incredible. I recommend calling ahead for an appointment, but they've always been able to squeeze me in the same day. I have a very low pain tolerance but they've always treated me so well here. No complaints regarding pain. They're always very careful around the cuticles and understanding of heat sensitivity from the UV light. I came here from a recommendation of a friend. Now we've shared this spot with five other friends! Everyone that has gone has had an amazing experience as well. I highly recommend this salon truly.

They have an entire wall of nail colors. I love getting pedicures and gel manis here. They were able to take me as a walk in- I am so grateful because I hated my last mani from another place. She was very thorough with removing my old gel and cleaned up my cuticles SO well. Overall, it took a little over an hour. I absolutely love the color.

Refresh applied a gel manicure and normal pedicure. The manicure lasted a couple of weeks before it started breaking down. The second time I went in I showed them the cracks and chips in the gel and asked if they could use a stronger gel. They assured me they would use an extra layer which should handle the problem. Within 3 days my nails started chipping. By three weeks they were an absolute mess.

I just got a gel mani from Lisa and overall I was really disappointed. My nails don't look…read moreterrible, but the entire experience was really underwhelming. She's super sweet (which is really the only reason I give her two stars), so I hate to be negative, but especially with the other glowing reviews, I feel the need to offer my honest opinion. To start, the place itself is kind of a hole in the wall. Two mani desks and a small waxing station. Close to zero decor, very bare, white, and quite frankly blah. This wouldn't matter had the mani been good, but it wasn't. Her selection of regular polishes was ok, but it seems like a lot of the colors were similar. I decided I wanted a gel manicure so I asked to see her gel colors. Even more limited. She only had about a dozen colors to choose from. half of them were incredibly dark or black and the other half were either red or bright bright pink. She had one nude color and a pale pink with a little silver shimmer. I ended up choosing the shimmery pale pink. So already I'm unimpressed with color selection but I decide to give it a try anyway, keeping in mind the great reviews. Unfortunately the experience didn't improve. The filing was pretty rough. I still have a couple of sharp pieces that I'm going to have to file myself. She also wasn't very skilled with the cuticle trimmer. She had a hard time getting a clean cut, so she kept cutting more and more. On a couple fingers, she took off quite a bit of the top layer of my skin. It's not obvious unless you look very close up, it's visible where she cut the finger skin beyond the cuticle. Her base gel seemed old and like it was starting to dry up. It didn't go on evenly. She also didn't have much control over the polishes and kept painting onto my skin or painting too thick. She painted into the crevice of my right pinky nail so the polish goes from my nail onto the skin, you don't see the definition of the nail on one side. There was also no soaking of my nails pre-mani and no lotion post-mani. Overall, it was a really mediocre, shoddy job. I just moved from the city to Daly City and am looking for a regular manicurist, but Lisa will not be it. =(

Nothing too spectacular with the decor of the nail shop. It was a bit hot inside and they didn't have any music playing until later on. The removal process for my existing gel nails was fine.
