Sure, having these meats on their menu isn't particularly impressive, but the sheer number of dishes including each of them is. Unfortunately, the food doesn't quite live up to the expectation set by the quality of the menu, but that's not to say it's horrible. It's all pretty edible and quite tasty, but that's about it. The quality of the dishes sets it apart from the usual Chinese places but, to be honest, when it comes to getting Chinese food I think I prefer the downmarket all-you-can-eat places or just getting a takeaway and eating it whilst watching TV. Just in case it wasn't clear that they were a Chinese restaurant, of course. From the outside, Ju Fu does look quite dated (as Isabel pointed out) but once inside, the restaurant looks and feels comfortable enough. The food here is all made to a decent standard, but I prefer to get Chinese meals from the chippy generally, to take away. They do takeaway at Ju Fu, but it's just not the same. If I go to a Chinese restaurant, I'm more accustomed to it being an all-you-can-eat and whilst the quality of food in such restaurants isn't quite as good, you know what you're getting there and what to expect. That said, my problems with Ju Fu are personal ones and questions of what I'm comfortable with, so if you fancy going for a Chinese meal that is fairly high quality and served by friendly, helpful staff, then check Ju Fu out.
