Prince store is located in the airport terminal 1. The store is just the right size. Customer service was the best, the lady working a few weeks ago was so helpful! They have a great selection of prince memorabilia to choose from. I didn't purchase anything, just wanted to browse abit. Don't forget to check out the Prince mural in the airport, also Paisley park isn't that far from the airport. Great stop if you have some time to spare.

Everything Prince on Terminal 1 MSP Mall "Dearly beloved We are gathered here today to get through this thing called "life"... " I had no idea that there was a Prince store (inside the airport, at that) dedicated to Prince, a multi-talented American musician of my generation... singer, guitarist, songwriter, producer, dancer, and performer on keyboards, drums, and bass. "Dream, if you can, a courtyard An ocean of violets in bloom Animals strike curious poses They feel the heat The heat between me and you..." I walked in just looking around. The shop paid tribute to a beloved local Minnesotan legend. I was transported back in the '80's when I saw photos of him, the merchandise and collectibles... the store celebrated Prince and his career through music, shirts, jackets, music (CD/vinyl), books, mugs, logo baseball hats, accessories, airplane travel pillows, art prints, and posters. It was like a little museum because the store also displayed samples of Prince's handwritten lyrics from his Sign of the Times album and one of his guitars. "I never meant to cause you any sorrow I never meant to cause you any pain I only wanted one time to see you laughing..." Located at Terminal 1 in the main mall at the south end of the airport... just a short distance from the TSA checkpoint. Looking forward to visiting Paisley Park with the hubby... thank you to Robin (salesperson) who shared tips about the tour at Prince's Estate. "Say say Two-thousand-zero-zero party over Oops out of time So tonight I'm gonna party like it's 1999..." Are you able to name the songs by Prince in this review? Review #3186

The first time I saw this Prince Store, I was browsing at Minneapolis-Saint Paul (MSP) Airport. I didn't have a chance to go into this store to peruse, as I had spent a lot of time browsing at other stores that I ran out of time. This store is next door to the north security checkpoint. I typically go through south security, so it was a decent walk northbound. I had a flight to catch, so I looked at the storefront and headed to my gate. Earlier this month, I had the opposite scenario. I had an evening flight out. I had just cleared north security. I got a notification that my flight was cancelled. I am a seasoned traveller in this scenario. I didn't panic. I didn't immediately fetch my luggage. Rather, after having cleared north security (it's closer to Delta gates), I saw this store. I quietly said to myself, "I've already cleared security. I might as well check out this store." And, so, I did. I walked in to peruse. Prince was born in Minneapolis. I still need to visit Paisley Park in Chanhassen where he resided and recorded his music. It's nice that if you can't do a tour of Paisley Park, you can visit this store to get your Prince fix. You can get everything from Prince mugs to sweatshirts. He loved purple. I love purple and his music. What's not to love? Okay, maybe some of the prices here. The hoodies and t-shirts were rather steep in price. You're looking at nearly $50 for a t-shirt. Yikes! I am oddly into caps these days. I got a purple Prince cap with the nicest embroidery of his sign on it. It's comfortable to wear and was much more affordable in price. There were some discounts in the store. You could get a couple of branded drinking glasses for $25. You just have to be careful hauling glass with you. I appreciated seeing some Prince memorabilia at the store. Seeing his handwritten lyrics for "Starfish & Coffee" that he wrote with New Power Generation was cool. His cursive was nice! I had a male staffer cash me out. I paid with a credit card. I tapped and was good. He put my cap in a purple (of course!) plastic bag and wished me a nice evening. I reciprocated. I sat down to take care of lodging and car rental details. I then headed to baggage claim to fetch my luggage. I'm glad that I stopped by this store. It did make heading to the airport more worthwhile than simply going through security and immediately leaving thanks to a cancelled flight. I'd return again. (74)

This place is for a true Prince fan. Was able to pick up a few items that Paisley Park didn't have.

This is MY favorite store to shop at when traveling through the MSP terminal 1 airport. There's not very many public Prince stores to buy licensed merchandise like for example the one at Paisley Park so I always make an effort to stop here. This time I bought a cropped top hoodie that says..Peace, Love and Purple Rain. The purple rain written in glittered purple. It's super cute. Items are a little expensive but worth it. I also love the stickers and memorabilia. The staff is phenomenal and friendly and you can tell how much they love Prince! They are great at providing recommendations.

Robin was incredibly helpful, courteous & knowledgeable! Great store for all of your Prince memorabilia needs!

So what do you do hungover at the Minneapolis airport? Spend some "me" time browning in the Prince store. He's a Minnesota native and has only grown in stature since his passing. The store is awesome homage to the purple one through the decades. Great clothes and knickknacks. Not sure he would have approved. In any case, the memorabilia is top notch and the jackets are unique. Check it out

This was pretty cool to see in the airport. Prince is from Minneapolis, so it's fitting to have a bit of a tribute to him there. I stopped in to browse and I was contemplating buying a Purple Rain shirt to replace one I had years ago, but at $45 I couldn't justify the purchase. The store has tons of Prince themed merchandise - keychains, stickers, bathrobes, CDs, vinyl, apparel, etc. There are some fun photo ops in the store, too. I wouldn't stop in every time I'm at MSP, but if you're a big Prince fan, definitely check it out.

This shop is located on the other side of the airport. You will need to take the tram and get off at sky mall...and walk...which was only a 10 minute walk. Robin was phenomenal. She took some pics of me inside and outside of the store and gave me some great insight when I return back for another visit. It was cute store. Take a peek if you have time!

So exciting to see a Prince store in the airport. Don't want to date myself but I saw Prince in 1985 and he was amazing. Loved this store. The older lady working the floor was super friendly and informative.

In another step to ensure the legacy of Prince Rogers Nelson lives on for generations to come, an Official Prince store has opened in Terminal 1 (near Concourses F and G) of the MSP International Airport. Whether you are a neophyte or season veteran Prince fan, this store is stocked with enough high quality merchandise to meet the needs of all. The store contains an array of Prince inspired items including t-shirts, mugs, caps, sweaters, etc. There are even t-shirts available in toddler sizes for those younger/smaller Prince fans. Add to it, there is also Prince music available for purchase on both vinyl and CD. Lastly, tickets for Paisley Park tours can be purchased here. Lastly, while some of the merchandise is similar to what is available at Paisley Park and on the official Prince store website (www.prince.com), I am encouraged to see there are items that appear to be exclusive to this store. Things like this channel the spirit of Prince as he often released a mix of a song or album that were only available in specific countries, retail stores, etc. I look forward to many more visits to this store. If you happen to be in Terminal 1 of the MSP International Airport, be sure to stop through and check it out.

I am a Prince fan. I have been in Paisley Park several times. I was surprised to see this store in the airport but it has some nice stuff. Cool memorabilia and Prince trinkets. I was at the airport early and the TSA lines were super short. I enjoyed looking around this store. I will have to stop back on my way home.

A beautiful space to reflect upon the genius that was Prince and purchase his music or other related items.
