Hired him for a pool conversion. Asked for a $5000 deposit. Was given a timeline. Timeline lapsed…read more Attempted to reestablish new timeline. Was never given firm expectations. Attempted to scrap original plan to convert pool and asked to simply replace the liner. Liner never seemed to have been ordered. Asked for a refund. Refund promised. No refund received. Attempted to settle for less than deposit. Owner stopped responding. Filed papers with the court. Awaiting trial. Still will to settle out of court. But no attempt to do so has been made. Good guy. Bad businessman. Just want our money back. Not trying to ruin him. EDIT: 1) The supposed reason our pool isn't done (according to him) is because the materials were never delivered or not available. So, materials that weren't "ordered" or were never delivered don't need to be returned in order to get a refund. 2) We signed nothing and there was no verbal contract about a refund being not being an option and he agreed to a refund. 3) I wouldn't have taken him for a liar, just a bad businessman. But he's proving me wrong here. Had he simply said he was working to refund the money that would have been accurate according, but saying that he has a no refund policy on deposits and that we had signed or agreed to as much is an outright lie. That being said, if he asks for a deposit of $5,000, know that if he flakes on your project, you should not expect that back according to his own words here.

Had a Blue Torrent Pool Pump that was installed less than a year ago. John from Atlantis PoolWorx…read moreclaimed it was a great pump. Pump came with a 3 year guarantee. Was installed on 09/01/2023 and less than one year later the pump has quit operating. Had tentative appointment for last week 7/11 or 7/12. Then on 7/12 I received a "placeholder" from John for 7/19 between 12-4 PM however he said he would do his best to make it earlier. I sent multiple messages to John at the company number over the last week to confirm, with no response from John at all. I took the day off work 7/19 to be home if/when he arrived. Again multiple calls and text messages have gone unanswered and with no reply at all. This is absolutely ridiculous for a business to operate with such a lack of caring attitude. If/when I receive a call and service I will edit this review. Just a note to anyone to stay away from BLUE TORRENT as the company requested that I send the pump (at my expense) to them. Unbelievable
