Tl;dr dodgy
This place is extremely "local" as my friend puts it. The place is very confused and not clean by any measure. The immediate interior is kinda dark and unsettling, when we approached the bar they said the food was out the exit and to the back, confused we went out the exit. We're were in some kind of court yard with a tin roof over a grill. We proceeded to order a brisket sandwich and a plain cheeseburger. Upon taken a seat we observed the locals who were there. One of them had brought two puppies that were roaming about and at some points walking across the table. They were also loud and rowdy. It wasn't a comfortable environment for two people who were from out of town. The food was also very bad. I didn't encounter a real problem with my brisket, however my friends burger had all the condiments thrown on it even though he had asked for a cheeseburger. This didnt seem like the place that would respond kindly to having food sent back to the kitchen so we tried to clear off the burger as much as possible, however the onion (which my friend really dislikes) were cooked into the cheese. He gave up at that point and skeptical I decided to see if the burger meet was any good. I should have left it at hopeful curiosity because the burger meat had the appearance of being cooked, however to the touch it was very raw. I'm not sure how long the patty had been out before being cooked or how old it was, or why the burger was very cold in the middle but it didn't seem like a good idea to continue at all. I wouldn't reccomend this place to anyone really unless dives, dodgy service and questionable burger patties are thrill you're seeking. read more
