My partner ordered a burger that came with a hair it. The nice server promptly removed it and brought back a fresh one in 6 minutes. The burger was not comped nor was any offer of a free dessert, starter or drink offered. My friend ordered mussels and over half of them were either closed (aka not fresh) or empty. What a great little gem of a pub. i had never been there…read morebefore but i had a genuine friendly welcome from the rather attractive landlady called Vanessa [i blushed] It has a great cosy feel to the pub and the food and drink [they do a tapas menu] were great. Despite geting ready for a music evening the staff still found time to be friendly and the live band [a crazy jazz combo but good fun] turned a quiet night out into quite something. i am new to deal but have found my local!
