This is easily the best Turkish restaurant in Oxford, and the best Kebab place in the town too…read more Although it can fulfill the needs of the average kebab seeker, it really does come into its own as a restaurant. In fact, somehow it manages to avoid all the late-night drunk student/lager lout crowd. They don't belong here, it's just too classy. The staff deliver generous portions, and free warm Turkish bread for starters, which is always welcome. The service is unbelievably good, friendly, and it's run by people who really do have passion for their cuisine, and are eager to leave every customer satisfied. If you ask them, they'll even bring you Turkish tea afterwards, although it would be nice if it was served in small Turkish glasses rather than over-sized Coffee cups. I highly recommend Cowley Road's legendary Bodrum Kebab restaurant!

I recommend putting down your name or taking a time slot in case they can't seat you right away. The decor is also comic theme which is different than a lot of burger places. It's definitely something that makes them unique.

Love :) Food: Dixie Chick: Huge burger! So tasty! It's going to be messy but it's that messy good kinda taste you know? Trailer Fries: Another messy dish, but the mess is because of the cheese and everything else and it is so good too you have to get one for the table Overall: I love the decor and you can definitely go around and even towards the bathrooms and take your IG pics lol

This is the closest dominoes that delivers to me and I have used them many times in the past, I…read morewould however recommend that you go in person reguarly as they are not always quick to mention the special offers. Also, ask for extra garlic dip - there is never enough for the crusts! The onion rings are delicious and I reguarly ask for a pizza that is one choice on half and another on the other side and have never had a problem with this! Pizza always arrives within the time stated and is always still nice and hot. Nicer garlic dip than the other pizza place near me! It is expensive but you get what you pay for and is worth an occasional treat.

They have good offers on a regular basis, particularly for pick-up (rather than delivery). Pizza is usually piping hot and accurately made, and they've been good at correcting mistakes on the rare occasion that they occur. They have a good range of toppings - larger than many branches, I've discovered - and are a popular alternative to cooking dinner on busy days.

Eating at Kebab Kid is one of my fondest memories from my semester in Oxford. However, most of my…read moreKK experiences were at the other branch, on Cowley Road. THAT Kebab Kid would get 5 stars from me in a heartbeat. Great service, good amount of tables, delicious food served quickly, convenient location... yeah. Cowley gets 5 stars. Gloucester Green... 3 stars. There's about 5 seats total in this restaurant - it's definitely more geared for takeaway. I'd recommend the takeaway option myself, as the seats and counters that are there aren't the cleanest. The service was decent, the food delicious as always, and they have Rubicon Mango, which is like nectar from the gods. This location is convenient for those staying at Oxford's hostels or just stepping off/on the bus or train, since it's near both stations. If your visit to Oxford is quick, stop in and grab a kebab naan to go. If you have more time to spend... hop on the bus to Cowley Road to sit down and enjoy your meal. It's across from Tesco and the logo looks like a cross between Elvis and Johnny Bravo- you can't miss it.
I wish I could like this place but this meal missed the mark…read more Oxford suffers from few takeaway places in the city center surrounding Banbury and Gloucester Green. And no proper fish and chip shops. So this place had a tall order to fill to chip craving. Points earned for naan use instead of pita on the doner kebab. Point for chips that stayed crispy despite styrofoam packaging through the short cab ride up Banbury Road to north Oxford. No points for the foul meat in the doner - it tasted more artificial than it should. Horrid white creamy sauce applied on top. Mayo? Yuck. Definitely not tsatziki. No points for the lack of heat in the chili sauce. No points for the four pound fifty price tag for a doner and chips. In short, in this town where parents are more likely to pop in to take their children out to gastropub food or a proper restaurant, you will be hard pressed to find a good kebab or chip shop in town near Gloucester green. Btw, where was Hassan's van?? Bc it wasn't on Broad street tonight.

Chinese food is a big passion of mine - both eating and cooking and i hardly ever find a take away…read morewhich is as good as restaurant food or my Chinese friends home cooking! But this take away is AMAZING. possibly my favourite Chinese take away. Every time i have ordered from here my food has been not warm, but hot. Lovely and hot. Not too greasy and runny either. My favourite dishes from here are the very meaty ribs, the crispy seaweed and the duck rolls. I also love the oyster sauce and their beef is very tender. You can go and collect your food (phone the order through first), or they will do home delivery. They are very clear and helpful over the phone. I definitely recommend this take away!
