Christen review…read more I found the Nicholas Ryan Team and was immediately in contact with Nicholas Ryan. He then set me up with Christen on a consult call. I live out of state, so I needed a trusted team to sell my tenant occupied condo on the North-side of Chicago. Not only did Christen sell my home in the off market and at list price but she went OVER and BEYOND to work with my tenant (who started out slightly disgruntled). By the end of it, the tenant, Christen and myself were working together! Christen brought us both peace in the middle of a pandemic! Since I was not able to be there in person, Christen and her team took care of *everything* making sure the new buyer has a freshly painted + cleaned home on closing day. I told Christen many times and will say it over and over. She is a true angel, not only as a realtor, but as an extraordinary human who wants nothing but the best for all involved. I felt deeply taken care of and honored in the entire roller coaster process. I am sure if I had any other agent I would not have sold my condo. She is special, and she will deliver!

With this last move, we relocated out of town and wasn't in IL to do various activities to facilitate selling of the home. With that, the Starwalt team stepped in on numerous occasions to ensure everything was done to facilitate a smooth sell process. From the beginning of the process to the end, they were attentive, prompt and customer focused. If you are in the market for a realtor, give Jim or Susan Starwalt a call. They'll take care of your needs. You will not be disappointed.

At that time, we decided to take our house off the market. That was more than a month ago. Today we got a bill in the mail from BHGRE Star Homes for $2,250 for Listing, Marketing for the Open House, even for installing a sign in the yard, and several other items. Until this point, we would work with them again in a year or two after doing some upgrades on our house and saving some more money. Not anymore.

As first-time buyers and then first-time sellers, we leaned on her heavily, and she was an incredible resource every step of the way. She was always available by phone or text to answer questions, explain the process, and connect us with great people--our real estate lawyer, contractors, photographer, and more. And when we say she went above and beyond, we mean it literally: she was out there weeding and mulching our yard herself to get the house ready for open houses. Angela is exactly the kind of person you want by your side for both the highs and the stresses of buying and selling a home. My husband and I own 4 properties (1 personal and 3 rentals) and regularly monitor the interest rate environment, actively refinancing when it makes monetary sense. We had a long-term broker relationship with another group so I had little intention of switching when I walked in - just wanted to get a quote to make sure my current relationship was competitive. Turns out, Mega Mortgage was incredibly competitive, so much so that we immediately locked in a rate and refinanced. I tried to get my prior broker relationship to match Mega's rate but they couldn't do it... The entire underwriting process was extremely seamless - much less so that prior refinances we've done. We worked with Artur Bartosik from beginning to end so no passing off to more junior folks that don't have a good sense of the process; if you've ever refinanced with a big bank, you know how amazingly frustrating this can get. My husband moved jobs over the summer, so employment verification/salary could have been a pain, but Artur and team understood the situation without a hitch. Also, Artur responds to my texts (my preferred method of communication) which I appreciate. At close, Artur came to our home to sign documents which was much more convenient since we have young kids so didn't have to arrange childcare. With the recent rate drop this week, Artur at Mega Mortgage is pricing out additional quotes for our other properties which is likely to result in a second transaction within a month! Couldn't be happier that I casually walked into Mega's new office - great relationship-focused group of individuals that provide superior pricing.
