We weren't sure if we should try the pasties here only because of the lack in reviews.. SO GLAD we decided to go here anyway. The Pasty was perfect! It was my husband's first pasty and he already wants another one! If you are visiting the U.P. I highly recommend grabbing a pasty here! read more

The pastys have all the great flavor of any good pasty you, however the texture is more of a mush, I was expecting there to be more chunks of potato and meat, rather it was like it was put in a blender and then baked read more

I had the beef pasty. To be honest it was just ok. I've had worse and I've had better. Fast clean friendly. I would go back.

This pasty was absolutely the BEST! The crust is extremely flaky, filling moist- no ketchup or gravy needed. The owner was very friendly and helpful. The only negative was they were not set up for dining yet (for the season?), so had to eat it in the car, but definitely worth it. He gave us paper plates and napkins and offered up forks. Would drive out of our way for the phenomenal pasty's! read more

Born and raised in kingsford / iron mountain have tried every pasty in every shop many times over and for the last 10 years give or take a month when a pasty for lunch or supper is on my mind I'm thankful we live in a small town because I'll drive across town every time for a prime pasty award winning in the u.p and when a pasty isn't on my mind they also make huge shredded beef and porketta sandwiches that fill your belly. Always been more than satisfied. And until I find a better pasty or sandwich for my money this is my go to place . read more

This is the only place I will buy pasties. I live 3 hours away so I get a dozen at a time. Call ahead to make sure you can get the amount you need. The crust is perfect and the meat is juicy. They are worth every penny. read more
