I live in an apartment ru by this organization. They're literally the worst business, in that we didn't get our front door keys until a month after move in day (9/1/17) and mailbox keys a week or two after that. The laundry machines in my building do not work, and they claim they aren't broken. They do not respond to calls until 12 hours later in my experience and they hardly offer any help when and if they do call. Do not go through here for an apartment. Renting from Prime was an incredibly frustrating experience. My complaints are in the same vein as previous comments. Communication from this company is pathetic -- they won't reply to emails (which made me think throughout the lease they were afraid of leaving a paper trail which seemed shady), they take forever to fulfill any maintenance request, and when they finally get around to checking out the problem, they just walk in while you're not there, decide whether or not to take care of the problem, and never even tell you they were there. After various lapses of time of radio silence from them, I would go into the office to talk to them and be met with a patronizing, apathetic, or sometimes downright aggressive tone. Being a good tenant does not help either. I paid rent on time every month and kept the apartment clean and left no damage. That didn't seem to help. They don't seem to care about customer satisfaction whatsoever, which I think would be self defeating. Surely it's cheaper to keep renters happy than experience turnover in apartments every year or two, but no. It seems Prime has too many properties to handle, so if you are looking for a management company that will provide a service beyond cashing your rent checks every month, this is not it. read more

Are you yearning for a management company that will totally ignore any maintenance request, no matter how BIG? Well, brother, you have come to the right place with this despicable company. We rented an expensive single family home through Prime, in a leafy "town that starts with W", west of Boston. We called early on in the rental because there was a problem with the garage doors opening and closing correctly. They never did a thing. In fact, half way through the winter I wound up replacing a part in one of the motors myself after looking up the problem on YouTube and ordering the part from Amazon, which fixed the problem. I never even deducted the cost from my rent, because I am not petty about such things, however in retrospect, I think I should have done that. So thanks to me at, least there was one functioning garage door. The old and decrepit washing machine leaked from the get go. I notified Prime immediately, but was told that was my responsibility. The light over the stove stopped working after a month or so into the lease. It was not the bulb as I tried that. I notified Prime but they never did anything about it, so I spent the rest of my lease cooking over a dark stove. About half of the windows lacked screens and about 1/3 lacked storm windows. I did put that plastic window insulator "cling wrap" over the windows that did not have storm windows, but not sure how effective that is. Needless to say, the oil bills were close to $1,000/mo during the winter. All of the windows had years of dirt and pollen filling the sashes. Just saying. We were responsible for all mowing and snow removal. I'm sort of glad about that because I can only imagine how hard it would have been like to get them out to do any of those things. During the last couple of months of the lease, they must have showed the place at least 15 times. I asked for 24 hours notification but they said that was not in the lease. I asked for a heads up - and they did a couple times, but more often than not they would just show up with potential renters and just WALK RIGHT IN, without ringing the bell. No advance notice, just walked right in like no one was LIVING there. I called the office to complain but was told that they would not do that. Ok, maybe not in the parallel reality universe, but in my universe, this was their normal practice. And it was not real estate agents showing the place, it was the Prime Management itself. I would recommend that you do not rent from Prime. And if you are a property owner, unless you are interested in being a slumlord by proxy, find a company that takes pride in its work. Disgusting, negligent & do not care about tenants health or safety after having the nerve to take a one month realtor fee. Black mold painted over! They couldn't even paint over all of it there is so much! A toddler loves here. They literally stated "to bad we're not ripping the bathroom apart" it's been a week since they painted over the mold and it's already back! Have asked for proof the apartment is deleaded, never received it. Working on getting every dime of our rent back since this apartment is and had been illegal and inhabitable. Prime Management owns a unit in our condo association. They have a 5 people family living in small one bedroom unit violating Massachusetts sanitary norms. They consistently pay late their monthly condo fee and owe us numerous late payment fees. We are going to take legal action against them. read more

I was just shown a place from one of the real estate agents from this management company. I never committed to getting the place, I just filled out an application. When I informed the lady that I was waiting to hear from another apartment, she yelled at me on the phone and sent me a very nasty text message personally attacking me.here is the message... I hate when I trust someone and run s credit check before I have funds . My goal is to get the job done . Trust goes both ways. Your credit not spectacular your job history not extremely stable. If I could give zero stars I would. They are horrible. My skylights have been leaking since the first large rainstorm and NOTHING has been done. I called and they stated they would send a roofer out the next day. To my knowledge nobody came to my house. It happened again a couple of weeks later, and still hasn't been fixed. They have not replied to my notice of vacating the apartment in a week. Good riddance. read more

Martha Zawadski seemed like a nice person at first. She told me to told call her when I'm in town so she can show me the apartment I found on zillow and answered her questions honestly. When I called her back, she was outrageously mean and nasty. She accuses me of being unprepared and will not work with anyone who does not have a cell phone and that I do not have my section 8 voucher prepared which I did have ready to show to prove I have it and tell me I need to consider a for room for rent and other occupied housing. She even tells if I cannot afford cell phone, I cannot afford to live in Boston. She seems to be very unprofessional and unhelpful and will not do business with her again or her company again. read more
