But according to my well informed bottle count, it means 14 bottles of hard liquors and aperitifs, 2 bottles of dry white wine, 2 bottles of dry red wine, 1 bottle of Champagne on ice, a double refrigerator shelf's worth of beers, lagers, and IPAs, 2 more shelves of soft drinks, juices and a few mixers, some glasses, and a bin full of ice cubes. That's not bad, if I were home with my thoughts and the television on. But in an airport lounges private club-room that costs money to join, I'm not so sure that the term "Fully-Stocked Bar" could even apply. Luckily Air Frances noble Tushy is not completely hanging out to dry, because there's actually "Food" here - or at least things that you can put in your mouth: like Pretzels, Sweet-Rolls, Croissants, Cookie-like things, and Instant Cup-O-Noodles. The saving grace (other than the bottles of mid-quality booze) is the "Hot-Stations:" Hot Tea, Hot Water, and a very nice Espresso Machine. And if you are an amateur Bartender, which am not, you could probably whip up some Martinis, a Whisky Sour, or a Nigrone. But that's about as good as it's going to get in this place, unless you're prepared to put together a tray of Mojitos, accompanied by a piping hot bowl of instant Oatmeal and a piece of Bread with Butter & Jam. And the only thing worse than this Private Membership Airline Lounge's food & drink selection is the stark sparseness of it nearly all-white plastic 1970s & 80s style décor. I can't complain though. I love Cup-O-Noodles with my morning Jigger of Calvados & Beer.

What an awesome little lounge..... emphasis on the little…read more Orly airport, typically speaking, isn't the airport you'd fly out of when coming back to the states. You'll more than likely find yourself at CDG, where I am sure they have a FAR larger lounge. All that said, I really wasn't expecting to find myself in this lounge on our way home this November for a few reasons: 1) I booked with Delta; I know operated by AF, but that doesn't always mean "come pay to use our lounge". 2) I was flying coach, and you can't pay to use AF lounges normally.... But then, a magical thing happened. Air France offered me a ridiculously low price to upgrade myself and my girlfriend to first class. Could it be? Would I be in the lap of luxury, laying flat across the Atlantic? Bet your ass I was, and it was everything I hoped for, and more, starting with the lounge. The staff was a gracious as could be; warm, welcoming, and most of all helpful with any request. The chairs were quite lovely, and there were plugs everywhere to charge up anything you might need to. The food was interesting to say the least; small pastries as you'd expect, but also for some inexplicable reason, instant ramen soup (low sodium, really really good). For drinks, they had a super nice cappuccino coffee maker, and all the booze your heart could desire. I nice personal touch, was that the staff walked around the lounge constantly asking if we would like more champagne, which of course, we always did. The only real qualm I had with the place, was that there was no bathroom. If after several glasses of champagne, you needed to use the facilities, you had to walk down two flights of stairs...C'est la vie absolutely worth the 10 trips I made (no drinking problem here, I swear). Super happy to have had the chance to check this place out, it was pretty fantastic.

Unfortunately, the Air France lounge in CDG Terminal 2E L was a major letdown. The showers were the biggest issue. Broken or missing knobs on the shower doors, visible black mold throughout the grout, and body hair on the walls made it feel like the space hadn't been properly cleaned in a long time. The toilet seat in the same area was dirty, the hair dryer didn't work, and the room itself felt unbearably hot. This is not what you expect from a premium international lounge. The rest of the lounge wasn't much better. Many of the seats were worn, torn, or stained. The carpets had visible stains. Food options were pretty poor overall, and both coffee machines were in disrepair during my visit. There is a rest or sleeping area, which I was fortunate enough to get access to, and that was the one redeeming feature of the lounge. Compared to other lounges I've visited, especially American Airlines lounges or the Flagship Lounge at CDG, this doesn't even come close. The difference in cleanliness, upkeep, and overall experience is stark. The only reason this lounge earns two stars instead of one is the staff. Everyone I interacted with was pleasant and kind, which helped soften what was otherwise a frustrating experience. Overall, this lounge needs serious attention to cleanliness, maintenance, and basic amenities. For a major international hub and a flagship airline, this experience was far below expectations.

So might as well splurge and hope it's decent. The staff here are friendly and welcoming (you paid), unlike the Air France lounge at JFK (hostile and unbothered). Plenty of seatings, food options are decent... hot food and cold items, has like a wine bar and snacks. The bathrooms are clean. Coffee/cappuccino machine was ok. Got myself chips, cold cuts and made a sando... Honestly, overall... if you have a few hours to kill, this is worth it to just have a comfy place to rest.

To the right after you enter is the main food / drink area. There's self-service champagne which I love. It is a bit early for champagne for me normally, but I went with it today. :) to the left are more individualized work stations and a quieter atmosphere. The bathrooms and showers are also to the left. The hot food selection was kinda meh. Eggs, bacon, beans, little dry hash brown patties, congee, broccoli with no taste, fried rice with no flavor, etc. the charcuterie board was lovely, and the little cupcakes were cute. There is a decent drinks selection, several nice coffee stations, and a fantastic loose tea selection as well. There are sleek private bathrooms, and shower facilities. The employees that I came across were friendly and they were keeping the place looking tidy. Overall, not a bad place to spend an hour or two at CDG terminal 1. Peace.

The entire situation was handled with a severe lack of professionalism, approach, and problem resolution that falls incredibly short of the standards held by other United lounge employees worldwide. The counter agent initially refused entry by incorrectly claiming that an economy ticket disallowed access and that Gold status was required. After stepping away to verify my digital pass--which explicitly permits access for two guests or one adult and a child--I returned and showed my phone to demonstrate full compliance. Instead of correcting their error, the staff dismissed the digital proof, aggressively asserting that because this was Paris and not the U.S., the rules were different. Even after escalating the matter to the manager, the denial was maintained. I was insultingly advised that I could enter without one of them--expecting me to leave my spouse or child outside an empty lounge. This experience demonstrated a blatant disregard for documented cardmember benefits and a total failure in customer service. Absolute embarrassment. #UnitedAirlines

It's right next to the Admiral's Club and was quite a bit less crowded. It's basically one large room with a buffet and beverages lining one side of the wall. Power connections were ample though are not the universal type meaning you'll need an adapter in you have US devices. WiFi was quick enough and easy to connect to. There is no separate first class area in this lounge. Food selections were standard Cathay including a small counter where you can order some of their famous noodles. Compared to the general terminal area this lounge is a godsend. When you're flying on EasyJet any lounge you can get access to is a good lounge. Our EasyJet flight was delayed almost 5 hours, and we spent about 5 hours killing that time in this lounge. It was pretty dead for most of the time. There are a lot of nice chairs, some tables, and plenty of outlets. The lounge itself serves first class passengers on a handful of oddball airlines, but also accepts Priority Pass, which is how we got in with a lowly EasyJet boarding pass. There are two TVs and the two women staffing the lounge were pleasant and let us have the remote to one of the TVs. There's also a few newspaper and magazine racks with plenty of reading material. Wi-Fi is solid and much better than the free Wi-Fi in the terminal. I was able to make several calls over Wi-Fi to cancel my dinner reservations in Belfast and tell the hotel not to give away my room. Food is pretty limited. There's some pasta salad in the fridge, fresh bread on the counter, as well as chips and other small snacks. There's a much bigger variety of drinks, including beer, wine and spirits, and soft drinks in the cooler. There's a couple of coffee machines as well. Bathrooms are the biggest disappointment. They are in the basement and kind of cold and dark. There aren't any shower facilities here.
