DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!! If I could do less than one star I would! I want to start by saying that I worked in the service industry for many years so I NEVER write bad reviews. That is until today. This company is truly one of the worst companies I've ever used. I called to have someone come out in June of this year. When Curtis, THE OWNER, arrived he looked at our unit and let me know that since it was a Friday that he would not be able to get the part needed to repair our units fan until Monday. That seemed logical to me so we paid him and agreed for the work to start on Monday. He did not arrive back to our house until that next Friday to make the repairs. However it did not fix the issue and he had to return later that evening to do more work on it claiming that a bug was the issue. A month later and our unit was not working again. He came out and gave false information and claimed our unit was just too small for our home and that there was nothing wrong. The unit has worked perfectly for six years up until this point. I had to call a second company out that night. Turns out our coils were filthy (something Curtis could and should have addressed) and our brand new fan motor was so hot "you could cook breakfast on it". It was at this time that I learned Curtis "wing nut" as they call him in the industry had been BLACKLISTED from Hot Springs because he is an "idiot" and does poor work according to the amazing technician at the second company. The only issue is our month old motor is under warranty with Prime Air and had to be replaced. I waited as long as I could before calling Curtis' company as I really did not want to be talked down to again. My husband is in Army training and I am having to take care of issue he usually would. Curtis tries to "mansplain" and talk down to women. I waited until the unit messed up a third time, now being September. I contacted the company demanding a refund or the new motor covered in my warranty. He confirmed it was under warranty and told me he would be out. He never showed up. It is now October and our unit is not working again. I have three small children, including a toddler, along with two pets in a house that is sitting at about 83 degrees. I am frustrated that this has gone on for so long. Please do not use this company, they are a scam! I just want the issue resolved or a refund so I can get this over with! read more

If you enjoy being ghosted with the flair of a high schooler avoiding homework, then THIS is the air conditioning company for you. I was treated to an award-worthy performance of excuses like... "Sorry, I can't come fix it because I was sick to my stomach" or "I no-called/no-showed because we were busy" or "I got a flat tire". If Curtis doesn't answer your call, just call from another number, I assure you that he will answer but will most definitely have another excuse to deliver. After a month of waiting for the part they came and "fixed it" and the unit remains just as broken as my faith in ever getting a real repair. At this point, I'd rather trust a 12-minute YouTube video with pixelated instructions and an overenthusiastic DIY-er than call this guy again. At least the YouTuber shows up... digitally. Highly recommend if you like paying rent for the privilege of becoming your own maintenance crew. However, I would recommend Carpenter Air at (501) 767-5197. They came in, took one look at the "work" that had been done, and managed not to laugh (out loud). Not only did they explain--without a hint of condescension--how the previous tech/owner failed to do their job correctly, but they FIXED it. Like, actually fixed it. In one visit. With actual tools. Imagine that. They showed up on time, and actually knew what the word "diagnostic" meant. Groundbreaking. So if you're into spending money once and having your A/C actually work afterward, skip the discount cowboys and call Carpenter Air. They turned my HVAC horror story into a cool, breezy dream--and didn't even judge me (much) for trusting the Prime Air. 10/10, would let them rescue me from A/C hell again. read more

They installed a new HVAC system at my business. Left a huge whole in the wall, which they never patched. You will see mutiple other reviews saying this same thing. In addition to this, we had problems with the system day 1. After months of them promising to come and fix it and constant no shows, we ended up hiring another company to fix it. The other company upon arrival said, "let me guess, Prime Air?. They leave a trail of destruction I am constantly having to clean up" read more

ZERO STARS. Hired them to install a brand new A/C in the attic of one of my rental properties. Curtis Black made it seem like he was giving me such a deal... ha!!! After a faulty install, using an old drain pan that wasn't right for the job, the unit started to leak through the brand new ceiling, walls, and cabinets. After multiple attempts to reach him, he would continually say he would come out. Then the unit stopped working correctly right in the muddle of summer. Had to again continually contact him. They finally did come out and fix the unit but not the damage. I was promised multiple times that his insurance agent would contact me and that his contractor would contact me... in the meantime the water damage was turning to mold. I let him know I had gotten a quote to get it fixed and he told me he would just pay instead of getting his insurance and contractor out. I of course didn't receive the funds he promised to send. I had already scheduled the repairs to be done so I paid and sent Curtis the invoice. Again, when I could get him to even respond, he would lie through his teeth and say he would take care of it that day. 18 month of trying to chase this guy down, I gave up and had to sue him. DO NOT USE THEM. Even AI on a random internet search warns you not to use them because of the owners constant lying, ghosting, and faulty work. He can't keep good technicians on staff probably because they get tired of having to clean up his mess with angry customers. read more

At first Prime Air care was amazing. The7 were the best company i ever dealt with and I highly recommended them to everyone. They were Johnny on the spot to come out a fix any issue I had. I loved them. Boy how times have changed. I bought my sustem from them 5 years ago I think . Anyways. It quit cooling on us so I called in a service call. Curtis came out and sa8d the freon just needed topped off. Folks this is a sealed system, it doesnt use freon or evaporate out. Its sealed.so if its low then there's a leak 100%. It started not cooling again after a few weeks and we noticed our fan running 24/7 non stop weather the system was on or not. He sent one of his techs out and he ordered a circuit board for it that controls the fan among other things.. No call no show for a month. I called back they said the wrong board came in and Curtis had to order another one. Another 2 months went by and mind you my blower fan is still running nonstop 24/7 and not heating or cooling properly. So I called back a 3rd time on this issue, and they're phones were disconnected or something. Didn't pay their bill I guess, now during the ice storm we were freezing to death in our house using electric heaters because our new awesome heat pump unit wasnt doing its job. Finally I get ahold of them after multiple attempts last week. Curtis came out yesterday on the feb18th and replaced the board. Was here 20.minutes and left. Now our blower fan wont come on at all since he replaced the board. So I called the 3 numbers I have for them and YOU GUESSED IT RIGHT, no answer straight to voice mail at their office number the 501547 number. Im.so mad right now. I called a friend of mine that does ac for a living he said to try and turn the fan to on at the thermostat. If it comes on then thats good if it doesnt then either the new board Curtis Instaled is bad or Curtis had blown up our blower fan motor because it took him so long to replace it. So here we are 2-19-26 Thursday and no ac no heat nothing, its 86° in my house right now and im being ghosted by prime air care. They will not answer any calls or text messages. What a way to run a business. Im about fit to be tied with them and about to hire a lawyer over this and demand a full refund of my unit plus more for my insanity they're causing. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! YOULL REGRET IT. THEYRE GREAT AT FIRST TO WIN YOU OVER THEN read more

Never call prime air for your AC servic3s. They made a large hole in my garage ceiling and promised to fix it and still have not done it. Numerous phone calls have failed with excuses. They to9k advantage of senior citizens and we have no choice but to hire an attorney at their expense. They were paid in full and now they forgot who we are. They such and need to learn they cannot do this to people. They will be reported to seni9r citizens anonymous and social media all over. They suck read more
