It was essentially deep fried cheddar cheese, similar to cheese curds. The menu is very small. They don't have much else besides appetizers and steaks, plus a few sandwiches. Strangely, they have frog legs. I tried one, and it was actually one of the best I've ever had. If I ever go back, I will certainly be getting an order. It was a bit uncomfortable to eat here. I felt like the other patrons were staring us down. Like I said, it's a bar first, so those people were probably regulars. The table I was sitting was a little sticky, but the waitress was nice. The people in there were smoking, so that might be a dealbreaker for some. There was a pool table, a few games, and a stage full of musical equipment. I think the kitchen shuts down at 9:00 pm, but the bar stays open until midnight. There was a band getting ready to play just as we left. I think you have to pay a cover charge to stay in the place past 9:00.
