Primark is a very low cost clothing store that has stores all over England. The clothes are fashionable and very cheap although do not expect them to last for more than a season. For t-shirts from £2 it is really cheap and an easy way to build variety into your wardrobe. There is a huge amount of variety and a quick turnover of styles and clothes. Nevertheless, you will find someone wearing clothes that look familiar in London! The Oxford Street store is enough to put you off shopping there for life the number of people who invade it daily is quite extraordinary and the queues for the tills snake their ways around the store. The Tooting store is heaven in comparison. Although far smaller, it has a very good selection of all their ranges. You can get through the queue in 5 minutes on most days. I have to confess that I am a big Primark fan. When fashion comes so cheap, you get a great excuse to go shopping every week! I discovered this branch lately, it's not as big as the Oxford St one but much nicer as there are less people and the staff can handle the shop floor and avoid the usual mess you find in Oxford St. Will go again and again and again! read more

Located at Tooting Broadway so the centre of Tooting. They carry a range for all needs. Womens, mens and children. Up to size 20 for women. Very up to date with latest trends and styles. Staff are generally polite and changing rooms are constantly manned....and very busy. The store has recently had a revamp and now 3 floors. read more

I am generally a fan of Primark but the one in Tooting is a very scary place indeed. It is horrifically crowded with customers practically fighting over the goods. At the beginning of the day the clothes are neatly folded on tables and hung on rails, by the end most are strewn over the floor and trampled in the isles. The clothes are up to date and of decent quality considering the ridiculously low prices, perhaps this explains the daily stampede for bargains. Great Primark, I'm not sure if it's brand new or has just been done up but it's lovely and bright/clean/ tidy inside! Well done to the staff for keeping it in such good order. Always full of bargain hunters who won't let anything stand in their way. They only stock a selection of mens, womens, kids, home, shoes and lingerie. The lingerie section is probably the most tidy and well stocked. Their shoe section is always sold out of the popular sizes and their clothes never has the more fasionable clothing found at the bigger stores. But with socks for £1 and pumps for £4, if you don't mind hunting for your size, you might like it. read more

Good value on the high street. Big accessible store with a huge range. The thing about Primark is that you are getting value for disposable fashion. You can shop to your heart's content and not bust the bank. They have a huge range of clothing for everyone. I did notice that this store is less hectic and a little neater than for example, the Oxford Street store. You have to find parking on the side roads if you drive here. Be wary of their paper bags that tear with you halfway down the street. You cannot believe how cheap most of their stuff is. read more

Very cheap, so do not expect too much from customer services. They refused to refund a shirt which I bought by mistake and it was a bit too small for me. Took it back next day and was told that piece of carton is missing, which does not satisfy 'resealable condition'. I left the shirt on the counter just for charity, it is Christmas soon after all.
