The photographer for Blue Fairy Day is Mia Pink. I hired Ms. Pink in December of 2015 to take…read morephotographs for my son's bar mitzvah. I paid the full contractual price. As per the contract, a Coffee Table Book with up to 100 pages, was supposed to have been delivered after the event. I carefully selected the photos that I wanted in the album to memorialize this milestone event. Mia came up with a layout yet it was nothing like the albums she had shown on her website. It was much less artistic and did not include any décor of the event. Also, despite my taking much time to carefully select photos, there were photos in the album that I did not select. The quality of the pictures was good and Mia was pleasant to work with at the event. I was surprised that despite my contacting her many, many times, she did not have the courtesy to return my phone calls. I was very understanding about the fact that she had a hospitalization but I was punished for my patience and for giving this vendor the benefit of the doubt. She can no longer be reached by phone, she has changed her business name and has not delivered the album for which she was paid. As much as you may want that gorgeous picture of your child in a fairy costume, beware, this photographer has essentially stolen my money. You need to wonder why there is no phone number on the website and noone returns your calls. Do not use Mia Pink or Blue Fairy Day photography or you may also get 'burned.'

She reviewed my ideas and came up with the perfect location for author headshots. She emailed and texted before the shoot to check in with me, and during the shoot, she was so friendly, creating a fun and positive environment during what could have been awkward (I don't love having my photos taken!).
