Emailed the recruiter two days before scheduled interview to verify the interview time since she…read morescheduled the interview with the wrong time zone. The day before the interview I called and left a message on the recruiter's voicemail, she did not return my call. Later that day, I received an email confirming my interview for the correct time. Arrived to the agency early, as requested, only to wait way past my scheduled time. I kept being told by staff "she will be with you shortly". 45 mins later, a lady on her way out (I assume the boss) noticed that I was waiting so long. The TLDR, my recruiter no longer worked with the company, her coworker felt she could handle both her and my recruiter's workload and as a result she was backlogged. Then I was informed they had nothing for me. Pissed is an understatement.

There could be several reasons for the issues, 1. is recruiter who is new in the area or position 2. Your resume may not be exact fit for the positions they have, especially a lot of these banks here have NYC values and look for proactive and professional dress (I was actually told to go to Wells in a business suit not business casual). 3. It is a tough market and questions and answers are a key issue. I met with Wells on 2 occasions with other firms. One gave a feed back and explained that I could not give hard to the point examples. My suggestion is to go back and ask the recruiter what has happened or what needs to change or feedback for jobs. Courtney has been absolutely amazing and pushing to no end to get me into a position. Being a recruiter is not easy and pushing these firms is absolutely difficult. It also depends on the click between interviewer and interviewee. No connection no job. I am learning that the hard way.

Had an interview set up with her and things change . i had to sit on campus for sign for my cap and gown and diploma for my engineer degree . I reached out to her and ask if she could have the job reschedule my interview a day before hand . That's when things change her entire attitude changed and she wasn't being helpful at all. Instead of helping me like a recruiter suppose to do she instead is arguing with me like yes pass up your registration for graduation and attend this job it's more important. Instead of having a 5 min call to reschedule she's telling me she can have others take this opportunity over me . So i ask how is this professional ?
