A wonderful find thanks to Yelpers!!! We were traveling through S on Tx 16 when we heard our stomachs rumbling. Opened the Yelp app and discovered a nearby cafe with not very many, but all good, reviews. We could tell we were close when all the cars in town were gathered in one spot - the Priddy Store. Inside there were perhaps 5 tables, a small selection of groceries and a kitchen that was busy serving up food to their customers. Ordered at the counter and we quickly received our order - the cheeseburger with sweet potato fries and the chicken fried steak special. Both were FANTASTIC! Eat here!!! read more

Best burger in town! Well it's the only burger in town but regardless if there were 10 burger joints in town this one would still be the best. Nice friendly service. Burger was cooked and seasoned to perfection. The lettuce, tomatoes and everything else between the buns was fresh, crisp and pretty darn tasty. The sweet potatoes fries were amazing, probably the best I've ever had. We were towing a camper and were able to pull safely off the road and park on the shoulder. Hopefully they will be open on our return trip. read more

Open 6am-7pm breakfast and lunch and grill now stays open till 7pm. Great food, fun atmosphere...

Service - 5 Value - 5 Food - 5 If you live in Priddy or just passing through like I did, I highly recommend going to this cafe. This is my second time here and they are consistently AWESOME!!! The jalapeño bun is magical... If I had a magic lamp, one of my wishes would be this bun... I would trade a unicorn and rainbow for their food. I also had their sweet potato fries... Yes, they were magical or biblical, because they were that good... They actually cut their own potatoes and fry them in Holy water or actual love. The staff is friendly and even served us 15 minutes before closing... We all felt bad at first, until we all had the first bite of our burger and then the guilt went away. If you blink you'll miss it. Across the street from the feed store is a diamond in the rough. Maybe the best bacon cheeseburger in Texas. The local flavor and personality of this spot is as thick as the well cooked bacon on their delicious burgers. Cold beer/groceries too but the food will totally surprise you it's so very good. Serve yourself at the fountain and tea stations. Whatever pie they've made, get it! read more

Amazing burgers!! This place has the best burgers and good prices, staff is nice also! Grill closes at 2 though so get It while you can!

So we saw this advertised in the Goldthwaite paper. However the hours posted in the paper vs Facebook vs yelp don't match. The grill is only open from 11-2 except on Wednesday when it's open till 7pm. First thing I noticed was that it didn't smell like smoke or grease. It was clean! Second thing the lady in charge (Mary), was super nice. In fact if you watched her work she was nice to everyone that walked in, calling most by name. She was the register person, waitress, and cook. We had cheeseburgers on jalapeño sourdough buns with priddy fries. Burgers were cooked perfectly with thick patties and good fresh veggies. The fries were covered in cheese, jalapeños and bacon. So good in fact maybe the best burger I've had in a very long time. Worth the drive. We will be back read more
