We were offered a 5 yr warranty. To say that this is the worst tile job in the state of FL (maybe neighboring states as well) is probably an understatement. The owner of the company seemed to be a nice-enough guy, anxious to please and provide great service. Unfortunately the tile layer did not care about the quality of the work. I had to personally stand outside and correct every piece of tile laid, advise about lining up the tiles/grout in an exact replica of the original existing lanai floor. All we got were excuses, the lanai cage was not square, it didn't have to line up, on and on. After correcting 3 rows myself and the installer was not listening to me, called the owner, Larry. He came out in a few days and looked at the job, agreeing it was not done correctly and that it would be done correctly and to our satisfaction. The tile layer came back and finished the entire job with me complaining steadily as he went along. You can seriously get a headache looking at the wavy lines of tile/grout. Called the owner again and he again stated they would make it right and we would be satisfied. The tiles were $450 and thinset was estimated at $150. A few days later, the owner came by and wanted a check to at least pay for the materials. OK BIG MISTAKE. I thought that seemed reasonable since we did have the materials. So I gave a check for $500 and received again the promise that the tile would be redone and we would be satisfied. That was the last we heard from Larry or Home Flooring Center. They have never called back, never showed up to repair this mess. Do not be fooled by this company, the address here on this site is 1804 W. Baker St. STE A, Plant City FL and the address on our invoice is 117 W. Alexander St. PMT 342, Plant City, FL. The owner is still Larry at both addresses. If you are considering using this company to do flooring work for you and would like to see pictures of what we were left with for a covered lanai, I can send you pictures. Promise not to laugh!!!
