I walked in price chopper with my family as well as me and my husbands puppy because we couldn't leave him in the car because it's snowing and freezing outside. He's never had a problem with going potty in the store but he had an accident right before we were going to walk out. Everyone was starring at me when I was asking to clean it up because I know it was my responsibility', one lady who worked there gave me a little bit of paper towels and I said thank you. As I had a little bit I needed more paper towels so I asked another lady who had a short gray bob and sounded like a mouse if I could have more to clean it up. Instead she didn't answer me pointed to a trashcan and I put what I had in the trash can but I need more so I said "could I please get some more and do you have any spray?". Instead she didn't say a word and just shoved the paper towels at me. Super rude! It's not like I walked away so you can pick up the shit! When we first walked in to the store as well we went to the bread section and there was another customer who was starring at us and was trying to also get to the bread. We moved so we can let him through and he instead just rushed around us and was making snarky remarks on how we didn't move. As if we didn't move, also there's a word and it's called "excuse me" if we didn't notice but we did. Today was the worst experience in that store and I have never had any other problems. I always say sorry, excuse me, I apologize anything like that to anyone if I'm in the wrong or in the way. If you have a stick up your ass and having a shitty day or just a grouch, don't gotta be rude to other people who are being nice. Me and my husband moved here because he was stationed at fort Leavenworth, we have lived here only 3 months. Do better Leavenworth price chopper! read more

The parking lot was almost empty at eight in the morning when I went in to buy some flowers to leave at a friends grave. The flowers were fresh and they had lilies which were very pretty so I chose those. The cashier was friendly and it was easy to access the store and get out from the main road. read more

I know, it is a grocery store and these days no one really enjoys going grocery shopping. Price Chopper has done a wonderful job of cleaning up their act, putting on a new face, and and sprucing up the inside. This is not the old dingy Price Chopper we were used to, and although the work mat have been completed weeks or a month a go, I stopped shopping with you because of the condition of your store, but you have done a very good job updating and renovating to make it a bit more pleasant to shop. Although there are cheaper stores out there to grocery shop at, none will have the selection compared to price and quality of that they offer. read more

I enjoyed a friendly face of grocery stores when we moved. We enjoy the variety of options and brands to choose from and the meat specials. Having a big chain remodel their store brings more business in town and I enjoy having brands that I can depend on and Price Chopper is a brand I trust! read more

Despite the name price chopper, there isn't much chopped about their price. the store overall gives me an older feel like it needs a remodel. This place is conveniently located to grab a few items when you don't want to drive to Walmart or Dillons. Also they tend to have items in stock when other area stores are sold out. They always have a line and they dont have self checkout so it's typically a longer wait time than most stores. Daytime employees are nice but after 8, the staff turns grumpy read more

I want to give Trish and Kayley at Price Chopper Bakery in Leavenworth, KS a stellar review! From the first when Trish offered to set up a cake tasting for my son and daughter in law, through the tasting, the ordering and producing the cake they were as professional as any bakery anywhere. The cakes ( white with buttercream and chocolate with chocolate buttercream) were tasty and wonderfully done. Trish took a picture my daughter in law found on the internet and made her dream cake with purple roses just like she wanted. The chocolate groom's cake with purple LSU frosting was just as we asked for as well. I got constant great comments from the guests all afternoon on. The price was so much lower than any of the KC bakeries to top it off! Thanks so much for your help. read more

I think I just bought my last bottle of Shatto Milk. I just bought a quart of whole milk, with a good through date of July 2nd, opened it and took a sip within 10 minutes of purchase, and it was completely sour and full of chunks! Absolutely DISGUSTING! What horrible quality control! I bought it at Price Chopper in Leavenworth KS. It was absolutely the worst milk I've had in years. Close this place down. Pass date food. Rude employees and always a wait to checkout. The only reason this place is still open is Starbucks. At least the Starbucks employees are professional and nice. This place has to get a makeover or new management. I've lived in Leavenworth 3 years now and this place continues to get worse. I decided never to go back after I came home with spoiled meat and was treated poorly at the checkout, as if I was an inconvenience for buying items from their store. You're a business. How about acting like one that likes profit. Just pass on this place and go to Walmart or a Real Price Chopper. Oh, only other reason to go here besides Starbucks is the Barber out front. He's great.
