DO NOT USE HER! My brother and his fiance hired Andrea for their wedding day on 11/2/19 and paid…read moreher in full prior to the wedding. She was to provide floor length tablecloths, high top tablecloths, long tablecloths for cookie and food tables, gold sequin head tablecloths, napkins and seat covers. There were several emails back and forth with Andrea about the time frame the day before the wedding and what items were ordered and paid for. The day before the wedding Andrea was to be at the hall by noon with the above items so the bridal party could help the bride and groom get the hall decorated before the rehearsal dinner. Chargers and some napkins were provided prior but that was all that was at the hall. Andrea never showed and after several phone calls the maid of honor finally got Andrea on the phone. She stated that there was an issue with the "warehouse" where she gets the linens from and that she would be at the hall as soon as she could. She also stated that she could not and would not give us a time frame because that's not how she does business. Several more hours went by and we began calling her again.....we could not decorate without the linens! She said she would be there very soon with some linens for us to get started with. She showed up after 4 p.m. with 7 tablecloths! They were NOT floor length and most of them had grease stains.....one of them even still had spaghetti sauce on it from a prior use. She told us she would be back soon with the rest of tablecloths, 110 missing napkins and all of the chair covers. The rehearsal dinner started at 6:30 p.m. and she still had not shown up or called. At 7:24 p.m. she came back with a few more tablecloths and long tablecloths for the cookie and food tables. She brought more linens that had grease stains on them again and also argued with us about tablecloth lengths. We expressed our concerns as we were down to the wire and still did not have all of the linens that had been paid for. She then said her mother had cancer and was in the hospital and that is where she was all day. She told us her son and/or nephew were at home hand ironing the linens and that she was doing the best she could do. She then said that she had already told us "sorry" four times and didn't know what else we wanted. We explained that we needed her to promise us that she would be back with the rest of the linens a.s.a.p.! We had been at the hall since noon and would have a long day ahead of us the next day. We wanted to decorate and go home to bed. The hall closed at 11 p.m. and she promised she'd be back by then with everything. AT 10:55 a van pulled up with a man driving, he got out and handed us 2 gold sequin tablecloths, 5 high top tablecloths and that was it. He said that knew nothing else about our order and he left. My brother who was completely fed up called Andrea and she answered her phone. He was never nasty, he just wanted to know where the rest of the linens were and if she intended to bring them. She said she would be there in the morning and would finish the tables and chairs for us. He asked her how he was to trust her when she was supposed to do several things that day and had not held up to her end of the contract. She then told him that she was triple booked that day and it wasn't her fault. He then said to her that it wasn't his fault and that they only have one wedding day and she was about to ruin it for them. Andrea then got super nasty with him! She called him a "Ignorant mother f*****!" Then asked if he was taking her to court, he said if you have the linens here and everything done by the ceremony at 4:30 that she wouldn't hear from him again. She made another other rude and unprofessional comment about them taking a honeymoon and said, "If you sue me your honeymoon will be paid for baby!" She did have the hall ready with the help of the mothers and bridesmaid's by 4 p.m. Most of the chair covers had grease stains and were ripped and the napkins were different sizes. She did give them gold chairs for the bridal tables for no charge. It does not excuse her very unprofessional comments and behavior, unreliability, dirty stained cloths and chair covers, mismatched tablecloth sizes and napkins. SHE CAUSED A TON OF STRESS!!!! I am willing to bet that the two other bookings she had that day probably didn't pay in full so they got her full attention and we didn't because they paid in full. Do yourself a favor and DO NOT use Andrea's services!!! She never apologized after the fact for her errors or her awful behavior. She did provide the gold chairs that the bride never asked for as I mentioned before as a sorry I guess. Andrea caused our family extreme stress, was VERY rude and unprofessional. She kept telling lies to cover herself. She then used pictures from the hall the day of the wedding after she FINALLY finished it on her Facebook page the day after along with the other events she had that day I assume.

Andrea was a key part of making my wedding event a huge success! After researching many places to…read morerent chair covers, I was frustrated and ready to do without this service that I really wanted, then Andrea was recommended to me. Her prices here unbeatable and she was very willing to help me make my event perfect! She was extremely easy to work with and really put me at ease! I HIGHLY recommend Andrea to anyone planning a wedding! Andrea truely enhanced my wedding with chair covers, table overlays, and renting champagne glasses! She also set up everything beautifully, and came to tear down after the wedding. Other places that I had worked with required my friends and family to tear down and hand deliver or pay for shipping to get the used linens to them within 2 days. Andrea is key to making any wedding a success!

Super versatile with lots and lots of potential for personalization. Multiple different areas with a variety of character. Gracie and her team were extremely helpful from the moment i first looked at the space to the day after the event. They have seasonal decorations that add to the beauty of the space. They are extremely flexible and worked with us to get the tables/decor/food setup. I cannot think of a better space for private events from birthdays to weddings. Highly recommended.

HIP at the Flashlight Factory may claim their "clients are not just another number," but their…read moreactions certainly prove that their clients are nothing more than dollar signs to them. Long story short, HIP notified my BFF via email only one week before her wedding that, to comply with the fire marshal's mandate, their venue would no longer be able to accommodate her wedding. Fortunately, the bride and bridal party were able to miraculously find another amazingly accommodating venue that same day, but HIP's handling of the issue was nothing less than classless. What was already a stressful situation was exacerbated by HIP's incompetent and unsympathetic actions, including (but not limited to): - delayed communication of the venue's inability to host the wedding - being unresponsive to requests to finalize details of the venue transition (yet still having time to post videos to social media about the situation) - trying to charge ridiculous prices for minimal venue involvement ($2,500 just to use the venue as a hotel and to take pictures there), - and claiming the rented tables were damaged when they were returned (even though they were already damaged when provided in the first place) just to be able to keep the $500 deposit We're so thrilled that the wedding turned out well despite the frustration of having to deal with HIP, but their behavior and attitude were completely unprofessional and, quite frankly, rude. If you're looking to have your big day at their venue, I'd recommend thinking twice. Give your business to people that truly have your best interests -- and not just your money -- in mind.

This is a really cool park near Trader Joe's, Whole Foods, and Target around Upper St. Clair that I…read morelike to stop at whenever I'm in the area. The trail is great for beginners or if you just want a quick jog. There are several benches you can sit down on along the way, plus a tree stump in the woodsy part that you can also sit on to rest. It's a very well maintained trail that smells like freshly cut wood chips, and has a nice variety of terrain. I didn't see any dog poop (it's a no-dog park) and no litter at all, which the multiple trash cans around the loop definitely help with. While a good portion of the trail has the wood chips, some areas could use a bit more. After rain, a few spots can get muddy and it can get a little marshy in the grassy part where there is no trail. The outer loop is about 1.2 miles, and there are several spots where the trail branches off. There's a more "woody" section and a more "grassland" section, which keeps it interesting. It's also not hard to find parking at the church across the street. There's a lot of birds chirping and tons of squirrels and bunnies, and every once in a while you'll spot deer. Inside the barn fence there are lambs and sometimes horses, which is a nice touch. Also kind of cool is that there are wild chive plants around this trail which is common in the Pittsburgh area, and you'll find some growing in the park if you know what to look for.

The old house, and farm are really special, and I am so glad that the Upper St. Clair Historical Society maintains these buildings and property so we can occasionally get to visit and see how things used to be. Today they had all kinds of activities going on, from hayrides, petting zoo, sheep shearing, cow milking, yarn spinning, beekeeping, and of course tours of the historic house, barn and outbuildings, all of which are like a museum. This place was well worth the price of admission . . . FREE, but the suggested donation was $5 per person.
