From Texas to LA, Preview Models, A year in the making. Preview Models is a platform built to connect Models and Agents/Managers in the Entertainment industry. Beginning in Fall 23', models from all over the US were scouted though online and in-person castings to determine who would be invited to Los Angeles for a 4 day all-inclusive Model Bootcamp and fashion experience. We were given the opportunity to walk in a high-end fashion showcase, shoot a commercial reel tape, pose for editorial photoshoots, attend acting classes, and meet with over 30 agents and mangers across the TV/Film/Commercial/and Modeling world. In addition to the LA trip, we were invited to participate in online seminars throughout the year that involved up close and personal conversations surrounding the entertainment industry as a whole, specific questions and examples as it related to agents and managers, and learn how to book commercials or recurring roles on shows. My overall experience was fantastic to say the least. Meeting models from all over the country was a joy itself, and it really speaks to the power of community when you are surround by people who share the same drive as you do. Throughout our classes I learned more about myself then I thought I would.... I thought I was only interested in modeling when I came in, but I left having a new found interest in exploring acting for myself. Although my critiques were good, I learned how much anxiety I have internally when it comes to "preforming" and memorizing scripts. I realized that in this next season for me, in order to accomplish my dreams, I'm going to have to face my fears very much head on. I am grateful to have made this realization through this program, it's given me courage to step outside my realm of comfortability and into something brand new and exciting. Per Marshall's review. I have the same experience. Show was moved to December yet no communication occurred going forward. Email says it's "address is not found". When I contacted one of the agents she said she no longer works with the company (I get why) and that the company has a new merger with a new email that should have sent out an email to us. I legit tried to give this company the benefit of the doubt but it seems all the bad reviews were true. Scam. Lost $4,300 which I will never get back because of a selfish company. They took 3K from me for a show in May, they then rescheduled to December. I haven't heard anything from them since a week after they told us right before the May show that they were rescheduling. I've emailed without any response, the number doesn't work... they have scammed many of us out of well over 100s of thousands with nothing in return. There's company is a scam. I would not do any kind of work with this company. I'm still waiting on my refund for $620 that they said they would give back to me. Don't waste your money in time with this company. They are not legit. Zhara who works for the payroll/accounting department told me I would get a refund and went back on her word. You shouldn't have to pay to work! It's a big commitment having to take online classes and then go to their show to see their producers. You are basically paying money to get a chance to meet the agents they know. If they truly believe in you they would not charge you and get maybe a commission only when you actually book a job. So in conclusion if you are just in it for the experience go for it spend approximately 5,000. But I don't think it looks very professional to buy this kind of thing. The business is a production company, not a modeling agency. I'll open with this: IF THEY WANTED YOU, THEY'D PAY YOU. What should you expect? They'll ask you for $6 grand and offer you little of value. * I did an analysis on each of their 40+ "partners" and little of them are reputable companies--only a few are modeling agencies. * Most of the reviews elsewhere to claim that the bulk of these partners to be very unprofessional--and will outright ask if you have money (they should be paying you). * From the perspective of future growth--there is nothing they can offer you that you can't do for yourselves. You will have better luck contacting agencies yourself. For $6k this is not something they offer (you think they would right--a few headshots a few more emails, it's not that difficult). * Now, something you won't see many do--I'll beg, and I beg you, do not give these people your money. read more

Do not spend your money on this "modeling opportunity"! It starts with the fact that ALL who attends their modeling casting gets a call to be picked for LA. In order for u to believe "u r getting selected" they will call u around the cutoff callback time, like 7pm. U will get all giggly excited u got picked. No, it is only because u will show up and pay for one of the 3 packages. What u r paying for: LA production in spring/fall time. First, there will be a lot of meet and greet with a couple of industry agents/models that Preview brings that will have do Q/A. Next, commercial reel. They will record u reciting a commercial text that u can download after. U CAN do it urself at home just by shooting urself home against a wall with ur phone! Next, digitals with designer outfits: u already have them probably or can dress up from ur cool outfit collection, come on, u have it, and pose for the phone camera or it is part of ur portfolio or comp card. From the production u will get 3 pictures against white background with show designer outfits and second round of them was outside against hotel white wall in my all black outfit: head shot, front and side. I think ur local wall will do just fine. Next, the show night. It consists of walking at least 2 times: once in theme clothing that is beige pants, tshirt and white sneakers, and designer outfits (u get picked by them and go through fitting) and walk for as many as u got picked. I got picked by 2. I must say, designer outfits suck! There is no benefit to be part of the show. The THING they will sell u to pay them is to meet agency managers/agents from LA. Seriously, u can just google all the names yourself, send ur portfolio and save urself 2.3k-4.3k! All these agencies will ask you for comp card/ portfolio and if u have taken an acting class or classes. All these agencies do not stock runways, they look for people to do commercials that is why they ask for acting class. And u need to live in LA, no matter what Preview will say, u need to live in LA. People, what they offer u for 2.3k-4.3k is not worth it, u already have the portfolio or can do it locally, take "white wall" pictures, record ur commercial with text from internet, google and submit all these to any agency u want. Upsale point: Paris production. Do not go. Same thing and and cost as LA but in Paris. ALL will "get picked" to pay, no exceptions. They will mention that they look for certain type to go to Paris production. No, only and any paying models. They will say u do not need to live in Paris or Europe if u get picked in Paris. They will just give u as example Laura, I think is her name. Saying that if Paris agency casts u for a role, they will cover all ur expenses to come work the job. Really, a newbie that has no paid experience, work history, fame like in Laura's example, will be picked with all expenses covered!? Do ur thinking. They will "pick u" to PAY. And they will provide the service as in LA production. That is it. PREVIEW MODELS IS A BUSINESS THAT TARGETS OUR INNATE DESIRE TO BE SELECTED BY CASTING MANAGER, FINALLYYYY!! I had a really great time , and I like the professionalism of the team but I also have a few things I believe that could be improved upon 1 - Please have someone who could do black women hair and wigs. If that is something that we are paying for I expected it to be a full experience of hair and make up. On the other hand if it's hard to find someone who could do that, then let us know the specific hairstyle more than two weeks in advance so we can book appointments or travel to get it done for the show. It's already a lot of money and we have to pay more money to get our hair done 2- if I'm not mistaken during my audition I was told they way trying to get someone as big as a Usher or Trey Songz to be performing, and when I get there it wasn't what was advertised to me during the recruiting process. 3- there was a bit of too much yelling at us as adults. Personally I feel that if they are not cooperating or they miss their call times because of chatting too much then they should get removed from the show . the whole group shouldn't be yelled at for a few people 4- find another way the show can be viewed because the poetic dime collection did not get seen on Instagram live because the live shut off and my family/friends did not get to see me walk. Another disappointing "casting" that requires you to pay for continued work with Preview models. They claim because they are not an agency, they are not scamming anyone because they provide such value. Payments upwards of $1500, must travel to their sites, and no guarantee that you will get signed with anyone. Just exposure. I was disappointed that I spent half my Sunday at a casting just to find out it's my money that will get me there and not my talent. Oh, and apparently you can even pay more to get a preferred designer or to open/close the show (again, something that is normally earned in hard work not money). This company is truly running a scam! They advertise on several social media outlets to get so called "talent." Preview Models is NOT a modeling agency, they are a production company only. The name alone is very misleading! They are an LLC, a limited liability company. In my experience, you do not pay upfront for your child to get exposure to model, act, or to be 'seen' or 'discovered' by a legitimate agency. My older daughter answered the ad by Preview Models off of Facebook saying that they were having a "casting call" for models. My daughter wanted her two younger siblings to "try out." My younger children both were selected or "chosen" (David Wachs stated), and would go on to the next round. Sunday was the next round and they were chosen again to come back later that night for more runway "training." My two children would not make Hi fashion modeling David stated when I asked what were my girls chances for modeling on the runway. However, they could do commercial print modeling, etc if "discovered" by a big agency or scout. The pius de resistance: you must pay for their service upfront! They have you sign a contract, which only runs for approximately a couple of weeks. Due to Covid-19, Preview Models say most of it is all virtual, with only the Runway show being in person. This is a scam . Please do not waste your time or money. I am writing this review to prevent other parents or models to stop wasting their hard earned money. My daughter participated in one of their events. She is actually a signed model with 3 agencies before she attended their event. They promise they will connect you with multiple LA agencies. Nothing came out of this event. The biggest dissapointment was when we found out that she was actually charged 5k instead of the 3k that everybody else paid for the event. When I asked,they told me that the extra money was for a Paris event that she was not aware that she paid. They could not show us a signed contract. Josh promised that he will get back to me regarding the issue after the event. After multiple emails we received no response after 2 months and counting. They do not even have a legit google page.It is shameful that they feed of of young people dreams .Crooked and dishonest.If I can can help prevent one person from getting scammed, it was worth it.Stay away! read more

While spending the weekend in Hollywood with Preview Models and their team, it was truly an unforgettable experience. I honestly wish I heard about Preview Models years ago because they were amazing. Out of all of the productions I've been in, this was by far the most organized and transparent. They kept us busy training/ preparing at all times and our schedules were jam packed for each day. Everyone was so kind and helpful, not to mention the acting classes, photoshoot/digital trainings and meetings with top LA agents/managers were very valuable and informative. Being able to be taught by ANTM cycle winners was a dream come true for me, as I grew up watching and dreaming to be on ANTM. The venue for the show was so pretty and they made sure to keep us hydrated and fed too which was lovely! The designers had such amazing collections and were all so down to earth too! Additionally, having the opportunity to speak 1 on 1 with 29 agencies and management companies after the show was invaluable. I had 9 call backs and am so grateful that I had this opportunity to be seen by a vast amount of agencies and management companies. Overall, I'm very pleased and happy that I decided to give this production a chance because I have grown so much afterwards. I would definitely recommend this production to those who live in small cities, those who don't feel that they have the exposure/network to be seen, or are in general serious about getting signed by agencies/managers in their current area. read more

Biggest scam ever lol I went to LA with a group of girls and nothing ever happened after the "fashion show". It was a cool experience but for the price I could've went on vacation to LA by myself. After we met with the agents one of them invited me and a few girls to a party so we went and this "agent" proceeded to tell everyone what a joke the fashion show was and laughed because they had Channel West Coast singing. We were very embarrassed and shocked so we left. Says a lot if even the agents thought it was a joke. I lost an immediate family member 3 days before I was supposed to leave for LA for the March Production.
