I'm on track to being in the best shape of my life. Initially, I expected that working with a personal trainer would help keep me disciplined and ensure I pushed myself during workouts. Cora has certainly done that--but she has also surprised me by adding value in ways I didn't anticipate. First, she really listens to my feedback and ensures that I don't get injured. In the past, when working out on my own, I occasionally hurt myself by doing exercises incorrectly. With Cora, I feel confident knowing she's watching closely and adjusting my form as needed. But what sets her apart even more is her ability to tailor my workouts thoughtfully over time. She's constantly updating and refining the exercises to ensure I don't overdevelop certain muscles or throw my body out of balance--something she refers to as "sculpting." Her expertise and attention to detail are unmatched. Cora is truly a master at her craft. Stephanie & Andrew Chapel are the owners and Stephanie teaches several classes a week. From the first day I attended and every time I walk in the door on Tuesdays & Thursdays at 8:15am I am warmly greeted...and since my initial visit have always felt welcomed and part of the "Vessel Community." With just 20 bikes in the Studio, the experience draws you into the workout no matter which bike you are on. Stephanie's classes are amazing...great music - always a diverse playlist with moves that coordinate with the beat and work every muscle in your body - it's always HIGHLY challenging as well as extremely fun! :-) Her encouraging words before, during and after the workout not only help you focus and motivate but also provide that extra little push to be the best you can be during class. I always leave feeling a strong feeling of accomplishment and of course tired...(LOL)...but I also leave feeling grateful and excited to know I get to come back for another class! Abbey Lam is also an amazing person and awesome Instructor. She has equally excellent classes! The fact that the staff knows every single child and parent by name is amazing and creates such a welcoming environment. My son did the Leaping Learners program last year and thrived. He learned his colors, how to count, how to color, and how to write his letters. Beyond academics, he made close, wonderful friends in the class. The teachers are absolutely amazing, patient, and caring. The seasonal camps have been an absolute blessing. They offer unique, hands-on experiences that my son still talks about. He was able to pet farm animals, touch a snake, and learn all about music and outer space. He even learned how to swim over the summer thanks to their amazing coaches! If you have a toddler and are looking for a way to relax, workout, or just enjoy some self-care time, this is the place to be. The family membership includes up to 3 hours of childcare per day! This amenity is truly how I keep my sanity as a parent. I would recommend Kids World to anyone. It is worth every single penny!

Instead on this trip, I had a free room available in my account, which I wanted to redeem before expiring. First of all, the front desk people are very sweet and were very knowledgeable about the hotel and the amenities included. It was also around $35 for overnight parking, which I guess was okay considering I was only staying one night. The parking garage is adjacent to the hotel. Couple of the reasons I came is for the swimming pool and the gym. It seems this is what the hotel revolves around; that and the kid care. Entering into the hotel room, it was super clean and very nice. They have a no-smoking policy in the room, which I love because certain hotels don't have that kind of policy and the rooms smells horrible. When I woke up in the morning, I had a view of the pool and spa. It seemed there was a class in the pool and it looked really fun and I didn't know they had classes. Unfortunately, I didn't have any time to see the gym, but I will my next trip to this hotel. Next time I head to this hotel, I'll have more to review but for now, this is all I have to say. The equipment is clean, well maintained, and there is a strong variety without the constant frustration of not having enough of what you need. The classes are excellent, easily as good as you will find anywhere, and the overall culture on the gym floor is a real plus. People are there to work out, not just socialize. The locker rooms are also a standout, consistently clean and clearly maintained throughout the day, and the front desk team is always friendly, professional, and welcoming while still feeling genuine (even though they are coached im sure). What really sets this location apart is how well it works for families. The kids club is far better than basic childcare, with a wide range of activities like sports skills, art, Spanish, and wall climbing. The pool area is also great for the whole family, with attentive lifeguards, fun family spaces, a separate adults-only area to relax, and good food and drinks available during the summer. It feels like a place where both parents and kids can genuinely enjoy spending time. A few things keep it from being perfect. It would be reasonable to include Parents Night Out in the already high monthly family membership rather than charging extra per child, especially since other Life Time locations do. It is also disappointing that the exceptional basketball courts are gone. Pickleball is clearly in demand, but keeping at least part of the space for a half-court basketball setup would have been a better balance. The old basketball league was a great part of the club, and it is hard not to miss it. We used to belong to the ClubSport Rennissance and it had a lot to offer too - but LT works better for us due to the better pool and kids club, nicer equipment, and more premium feel.
