I usually go to this pretzel maker over the other ones because they always have fresh pretzels and have always filled up my cup/box very full which I loved! Sadly, I came here on 3/25/24 and ended up finding a bug inside my food which caused me to not have an appetite after seeing it & didn't end up eating any of it:/ I work at a restaurant too so I understand how bugs can be annoying but the worker should have been more aware and paying attention once he grabbed the box! I love pretzelmaker but this location is always crowded and staff never seems prepared. Seems we always have to wait for an ordinary pretzel or hot dog pretzels. Lines can get long too. It seems well staffed but some employees are just hanging out. Frustrating to say the least but I love me a good pretzel so I can take it once in a while. Too much salt. I noticed the young guy that prepared these pretzel bites seemed to be putting a LOT of salt in, but i didn't say anything. When we got home we had to dump out all the pretzel bites, brush off 90% of the salt, then we could eat them. Usually they are just fine. McKayla took my catering order for my grandson's birthday party, answered all of my questions, and even gave me a discount for the large order. Everything was ready the next day when promised. We ordered two pretzels to eat right then and there, and then got a box of pretzel bites to take home to the rest of the family. We also got a cheese dip, marinara dip, and cream cheese one. Everytime I go to this mall I stop here, I have ever since my daughter and I did it together and I continue the tradition and send her a picture when I'm here. Now are they ur traditional pretzel? We placed an order for regular pretzels. They had oodles of pretzel bites but no pretzels ready to go on a Saturday night. The cashier told us 5 minutes. We preceded to wait for 15 minutes as they helped people next in line who came after us. We watched our pretzels finish baking and they just sat there as the worker continued to just make pretzel bite dough. They finally got our pretzels out. The worker that buttered (if you can even call it that) our pretzels managed to butter and salt only one side of both pretzels. Most bland pretzel ever. So sad. No female workers at all. Definitely note this is in Fashion Place Mall, so you will need to go inside to access this. I had a pretzel dog that was sitting there a while, but I mostly wanted to try the dog, which was so-so, reasonable for mall food. My son had the Parmesan pretzel, which he liked a lot. Those two things were nearly $8, so this is hardly inexpensive. The dough was overcooked on my dog and a bit dried out, but my son's pretzel was pretty decent as far as how it was cooked. The place was swamped the entire time, which may have contributed a bit to the woes and they were pretty deep in the weeds the whole time I was there. One thing I've always liked about their dough is a certain sweetness to it, no matter what flavoring you get. That is present here as well. They also have Coke Zero on tap and appear to be trying to branch out with the mini-stuffed pretzel things as well as bringing on chili to go with the nacho cheese and dogs.
