We are true cookie and dessert fanatics, and always on the lookout for delicious new treats, so of course Gideons came up on our radar. We had tried to get some before but the like was simply ridiculous so we passed. We happened to get lucky and caught the like today, and now I understand. Lol. These cookies are phenomenal! Soft and delicious and packedddd full of stuff. We tried the Key Lime Chocolate chip, regular chocolate chip, and cookie & cream cookies, along with a piece of cake. Everything was deliciousssss. As for value, prices are high. I think the cookies run around $7 a cookie and the slice of cake was around $12. It def adds up quickly. The decor and ambiance was adorable. Like a spooky little workshop. Service was very kind and fun, too. Wound I come again? Yes, if the line was reasonable. These cookies really were unlike any others I've found and are a special treat.

They can't print a receipt so I am frankly not…read moresure what either item cost, but the gross amount including tax was $19.17 for one cookie and one slice of cake. They did not include any plasticware or napkins, so I expect they think I was just going to inhale the food like Nintendo's Kirby monster and not need to wipe any chocolate residue off along the way. I would like to meet the complete idjit that designed this process of melty chocolate in Florida's summer heat to understand the complete contempt they had for their customers that waited 10+ minutes in line so much so that they can't include plasticware to eat cake with and a napkin to wipe off the melty chocolate. Must be the same guy that made the DMV how it is. The theming is cool inside, that is the best aspect of this place. The vibes are immaculate. This is a place a proper sickly Victorian-era child ghost could haunt. You just can't say that about many spots in Orlando. The banana bread cookie I was most excited about was doughy, overly salted to an extreme, and had way too many walnuts. The girl at the register warned me it had walnuts and we discussed how walnutty this thang was. They really should call this the walnut cookie. The walnut is basically the whole gat dang cookie, you can't taste banana nor bread. Calling it a banana bread cookie is just misleading. The thai banana cookie from Summer House around the corner in Springs is not all it is cracked up to be either, but that one certainly is not 99% walnut by weight like this one. The cookies and cream Oreo slice was far better, which was mildly concerning that a cookie shoppe traditionally known for their "viral" cookies had failed so bad at cookies it was actually their CAKE that was the thing worth writing home about my experience. It is such a viral spot everyone is coming here for the experience to see a spot that a proper sickly Victorian-era child ghost could haunt. But smart customers get the cake, not the cookies. When you get the cake slice, verify that you have plastic cutlery and napkin before leaving the store, otherwise you are going to need to Kirby-inhale it. I think that is Nintendo, so that is Universal IP not Disney, but you get the picture. Who is the Kirby of Disney? Drax with his cake-toast?

Patient is an understatement…read more We were a group of five visiting Salt & Straw for the first time, and the gentleman helping us was incredibly warm and welcoming from the moment we stepped up. He encouraged us to sample whichever flavors we wanted before making a decision, and considering there was a pretty lengthy line, that level of patience was especially appreciated. At no point did we feel rushed to just pick something and move along. He also recommended a few of his personal favorites, and I ended up choosing one of his suggestions, it was amazing. What really made the experience, though, was his personality. He kept a smile on his face, had playful banter with our family, and made something as simple as choosing ice cream genuinely enjoyable. Unfortunately, I didn't catch his name, but I hope Salt & Straw knows they have someone at their Disney Springs location who creates exactly the kind of first impression that makes people want to come back. Great ice cream, but even better hospitality.

The first thing you'll notice when walking in is the amazing smell of the fresh waffle cones they bake in house. Even though I sample the seasonal flavors, I almost always order a split single scoop of Sea Salt with Caramel Ribbons and Double Fold Vanilla in a chocolate or seasonal waffle cone. It's my perfect combo. Since it's at Disney Springs, it can get pretty busy, especially at night, and since it's a small shop the queue line is usually wrapped outside, but it's absolutely worth the wait. Great ice cream, friendly service, and creative flavors keep me coming back.

The Cookie Bar at summer house serves as a nice AC'd respite if you are trying to evade the summer heat and humidity. They have a few tables inside and you can also get a nice beverage in addition to the cookies. The cookie bar is impressive in and of itself. There are cookies stacked on cookies displaying like 20 different kinds. I was tempted to get the Thai banana one and the seasonal cherry pie one, but alas, I got the smores. I also got a peach lemonade and it was great!! Very refreshing! I highly recommend this place even if you prefer crispy cookies. They have a good crunch while still being chewy.

The hubs got the maple double bacon (not pictured) and he had to scrape all of the bacon as it was so smokey tasting it was off putting. Once he got the bacon off, he said that the maple glaze and donut were decent enough but that he probably wouldn't get it again. The ice cream is quality Blue Bell brand which already told me the ice cream is great. I will say that the shakes and a decent size and could be shared with a friend or family member as they are exploding with sweetness. I really enjoyed the Hot Fudge Nachos as it was a fun spin on a hot fudge sundae. This is definitely an experience I recommend! There is plenty of indoor seating, two large sinks in the back of the dining room to wash out your souvenir mason jars, colorful murals on the walls, friendly and welcoming staff. Menu board, handheld menus and a photo menu book to look at to help you make your decision. You do t have to get the souvenir mason jars with your shakes but they are cute if you want them.

This place is very Instagrammable, which I'm sure was part of their plan (and I think it worked)! They have all sorts of crazy concoctions with fun names, many in mason jars (hence their business name). These concoctions aren't cheap, and I think anyone would be hard pressed to finish one themselves, so if you're not big on sweet treats maybe share one. They do have some options for basic ice cream, etc. in dishes, but that is not their wheelhouse. The staff was very helpful in answering questions, especially because the menu is a bit overwhelming. They make each concoction to order, so you can make some substitutions but that also means it will take some time to get your order (especially in a large group).

We ordered A2- which is a mango ice cream, coconut, with fresh pomelo and mango on top. It was delicious and I would definitely order it again. We had just had lunch about an hour before and this was a delightful and refreshing treat. The restaurant is bright and open but a closer look revealed it needed some deep cleaning. The seat I was sitting in had visible dirt on it and there was some dark long hairs on the seat. I'm not grossed out by that type of thing because if you know anyone with long hair, it just falls out. No big deal but I certainly didn't expect to see it on the seat I was sitting in. The tables and bases all need a thorough cleaning as well as other areas I noticed during our visit. I'd understand this a little more if I saw they were super busy and only had one person working, however, we were the only customers, except for two to-go orders and the one employee was sitting down on his phone when he wasn't helping a customer. As someone who has been in the restaurant industry for over 35 yrs, I am well aware of the things needed to keep a restaurant successful. Attention to detail is one of the key factors and unfortunately Mango Mango is lacking in this area. I hope they can see this review and possibly take a closer look at the cleanliness because the food is on point. Next time I'm in the area hopefully I'll see. Seriously, you can save all your other options for a rainy day. This is the place for any occasion, date, family gathering, or plain ol' get together with friends to enjoy sweets with great company. Located off South Apopka Vineland Road on the Northbound side, Mango Mango is situated in a relatively new development and plaza (if you look at the satelite imagery from Google maps, it will still show undeveloped land as of June 2026). It's less than a 10 minute drive from the Disney Springs property, and about an 18 minute drive from Old Town/Fun Spot which is where we were staying for this particular trip coming from Tampa. As you arrive, you will find a spacious lot, however the actual parking spaces do appear limited (something to consider if you decide to have a large reunion here). Upon entering, you will find a very clean storefront and reception. Overall the store maintains a very neat and tidy appearance that is very welcoming and neutral when it comes to the varying demographics of customers. While we have been to Mango Mango before in a New Jersey location, this location provides a bit of table service (which we have not experienced prior) for dine-in which makes it a bit more intimate. The menu offers plentiful choices of sweets - from bowls with fresh fruits and ice cream, to your specialty drinks including boba. To call Mango Mango a boba shop would do it injustice, as this place truly shines as a hollistic dessert spot. Honestly, you can't go wrong with any of the selections. Each dish/drink is perfectly made to their own specifications. The best part is that none are overly sweet, which I feel is a crutch that most dessert spots experience. Highly recommend the mixed fresh fruit with sago and jelly! Wish this was in Tampa because this would give our usual boba spot a run for their money. This is a must have if you're in the area, so treat yourself after long hot day at the parks at Mango Mango!
