The owners were happy to let us book the place at three week notice on a Sunday. The outdoor and indoor spaces are beautiful and so versatile. We had the wedding outside, the first half of the reception inside, and then back outside for the remaining evening hours. The owners were available the whole day for assistance and advice, and were so helpful the entire day without being overbearing. There is also a cute Bridal suite available in a private setting. The owner has a variety of decorations for use free of charge, which was very helpful for us as we had to plan a wedding in three weeks. they also helped the next morning pile everything up for us to remove from the venue. Again these are amazing owners with a wonderful venue. Even though it is out on the country we were also able to obtain a shuttle company to ensure our guests were able to have a fun safe time.

We went to a wedding/reception there and it was beautiful. The downfall is the bathroom. There are…read more single stall bathrooms available (one each). They are ADA compliant BUT getting a wheelchair to the ADA compliant bathroom was impossible. The pathway was widely spaced flat stones with gravel. They really need to pave a path and maybe consider additional facilities for the number of people attending. I had called prior to attending the event and was told the wheelchair would work, but for us, it did not. Also the pathway to the bathrooms was not covered and it was raining, so those needing to go got soaked.. improvements would be nice. Definitely not handicap friendly.

From day one he answered all the questions, phone calls, and anything and everything we needed. He had many suggestions on who we should get as our bartenders, photographers, and caterers. He also had a lot of decorations available, which helped us save a lot of money! And make matters even better we got the trash package which was so worth it at the end of the night! He had it all. The day of the wedding he was there the whole time helping and answering questions. He was like a shadow. Never seen but also always there. Thank you for helping and making sure the wedding went smoothly! The venue is absolutely beautiful and we wouldn't wanted to marry anywhere else! Thank you for a wonderful wedding!

We will definitely be back there in the future to host more pageants!

Flat floor, no slope, we were 25 min early but stadium seating, sat 1/2 way back. Difficult to see the stage, floor is flat. Sound system was 2 lg speakers above the stage and the actors had hand microphone - should be head sets. Could only hear maybe 1/2 of what was said. Play: couldn't see it, couldn't hear it, Left early. Bottom line on this: Won't be back

Queen bed, lots of chairs, even a TV with a DVD player. In the hall is the Smith Library, full of books, games, dvds, and music. The house itself is lovely, lots of common rooms downstairs. The grounds are just as nice. We had a wonderful visit and can't wait to come back. It's minutes from Wittenberg University, so I'm sure we'll be back a lot in the next four years.
