I have been a loyal European Wax Center (EWC) client since 2018, consistently receiving services at…read morevarious locations throughout Los Angeles and New York with zero issues--until I had the absolute misfortune of visiting the European Wax Center at The Strand on Huebner in San Antonio, Texas. This was a routine appointment--my usual services with the addition of a simple eyebrow cleanup. What I walked away with was not only physical damage but an experience so shockingly unprofessional that it has permanently soured my trust in this brand. The so-called "wax specialist" managed to get wax stuck in my hair and proceeded to over-wax one of my eyebrows to the point of it being practically bald. This was the complete opposite of what I clearly requested: a basic, minimal clean-up to maintain my natural shape. The difference between my two brows is glaring--something no competent technician should ever allow to happen. When I expressed my horror and asked to speak to the manager, Victoria Willis, a multi-unit manager, I was flat-out refused. Let me repeat that: A manager refused to speak to a customer who had just received visible, damaging, and unacceptable service at the hands of her staff. I've worked in the corporate world both as an employee and a customer, and never in my life have I witnessed such blatant disregard for customer care or accountability. In what world does a manager hide from a legitimate complaint involving botched services and physical injury? The sheer lack of professionalism, empathy, and basic human decency is appalling. To make matters worse, I had redness, irritation, and inflammation along my brow line and scalp from the wax--documented in the photos attached. No one in leadership offered an apology, or any form of resolution. I was only offered hair growth product AFTER I burst out in tears over this horrific experience and my close to bald brow. In the end, I was dismissed like my experience didn't matter. This location is an embarrassment to the EWC brand. If Victoria Willis is the standard for leadership, it reflects a toxic culture of negligence and cowardice. To the corporate office: Do better. And to other customers--go elsewhere unless you want your appearance and dignity left in shambles.

I've been coming to Little India not long after they opened in 2001. I have tried other places…read morecloser to home, but my brows have never turned out quite as nicely as they do when I have them threaded at Little India. Rani and Sonal are truly skilled in the art of threading and shaping brows and results last longer than brow waxes I've had. I am always so pleased with their work and the price is also a few dollars cheaper than what I've paid at other places around the city. And though they have a steady stream of customers, the wait is never long--the process takes about 5 minutes from start to finish. IMO the pain is slightly worse than waxing, but the results far out weigh the momentary discomfort. My brows always look great after coming here, expertly contoured and complimentary to the shape of the eyes. Besides threading, Little India also offers facials, henna tattoos, waxing, lashes and several other services. Business must be flourishing because they opened up a new location this past week at 151 and Potranco. They also have a check-in offer on Yelp for $9 eyebrow thread or wax, and I highly recommend getting the thread if you've never had it done here. You won't regret it!

I'm heartbroken and furious about what happened to me at Stadia Med Spa. I want to start by saying…read morethat Gina and Darby were absolutely wonderful -- their facials and laser treatments were the only good part of my experience. They were kind, professional, and made me feel cared for. I would return to them in a heartbeat if they were at any other med spa. But my experience with Naz, the injector, was the complete opposite, and I feel truly betrayed. I trusted her, and that trust was shattered. I was never clearly told what everything would cost or how much filler she planned to use. I walked out having been injected with what I was later told was around 8 vials of product -- far more than I ever agreed to or even imagined was appropriate. Over 6k! I kept trying to explain the subtle, natural look I wanted, and I felt completely ignored. Right now, I look in the mirror and I barely recognize myself. My face looks overfilled and unnatural, like it's full of product I never wanted. The bruising is severe and still hasn't gone down even after four days. I can't describe how upsetting and humiliating this has been. I feel taken advantage of -- emotionally, financially, and physically. If you're considering this place, my honest advice is this: Only go to Stadia Med Spa for facials and laser treatments. Stay far, far away from their injector, Naz. I never want anyone else to feel the shock, regret, and heartbreak I'm dealing with right now.
