If there was an option for negative stars that is what I would choose. I am posting this to prevent another family from falling victim to this "event coordinator/party planner". I selected Rosilynn Bell (Mulan) owner of Pretty Bright Creationz, to handle the quinceniera event on 07/22/17 for my youngest daughter. I wanted to cut out the stress that goes along with planning such an important event by hiring an event planner to ensure things would go smoothly and I would not have to worry about the major details. It was important to me to create a beautiful lasting memory for my daughter and one I could enjoy. I am heartbroken that my event was ruined. At first she was all in, I paid her on time and according to our agreement. I paid her when items were added. She was paid in full one week prior to the event. She promised to begin setting up on Thursday, 07/20/17 and assured me that the party would be set-up in a timely manner. She promised to provide a birdcage for the cards. One week prior to the event, I contacted her and she still had not obtained the bird cage. I had to purchase it on my own and take it to her home. She failed to be present at my home early on Friday morning (1 day prior to the event) to ensure everything went smoothly with the deliveries from her vendors. I spent the majority of the day dealing with issues with her vendors with the equipment and I could not finish the errands that I had planned to do. This was her job. When she finally arrived on Friday evening after 7 pm, she was at my home briefly only to set-up the tables, chairs and turf. She promptly left before going over the placement of the tables with me. My family and I had to rearrange the 12 tables and 150 chairs as they were not spaced out adequately to allow the guests to walk between each table to reach their chairs. I messaged Rosilynn about this and received no response. She promised to be back the next day by noon (the day of the event)and she was 1 hour and 15 mins late! She arrived ad 1:15 and event was scheduled to begin at 3:00. When guests were arriving decorations were still being set-up, the bar and the dessert tables were still being prepped. The bar was not set-up with chilled drinks for the guests and the drink menu I provided her was hand written and not professionally printed! The bartender was not dressed in the appropriate professional attire. The concept was that when guests arrived everything would be in place and we would tend to our own responsibilities. My family had to set-up the bar and ensure the guests had drinks and were comfortable. As the guests were arriving she was sitting behind the bar eating and not doing her job monitoring the event to make sure the guests were taken care of and everything was running smoothly. There was no preventative measures in place with the chocolate bar for clean-up. She did not ensure there was a cover behind the chocolate bar and as a result the French doors behind the chocolate bar were left splattered with chocolate by the end of the night we had to clean and repaint the door. There was no preventative measures in place for the dessert table to make sure the chocolate did not melt. Nor did she ensure she had a power source for the coffee area. As promised, she failed to contact our cake decorator prior to the event. 4 days later after the event there is still equipment on my property. She billed me for a lighted bar that would have my daughters name and did not provide this bar. During the entire event there seemed to be a lack of urgency and caring for my event. I hired rosilynn for my sons bday dessert table it was a super mario theme and let me tell you what she is the best i been to my fair share of events and everyone of course hoovers over the dessert and literally everyone that walked through the party stopped shocked and awe and took pictures even asked for business cards. Everything was custom to the theme. She showed up on time to set up and the desserts was so delicious i am usually not a sweet person but i tried everything. I will always use her for any of my events and i always refer her to all my family and friends since i know they will be in good hands. All i know is if your looking for anyone to decorate your event she can definitely do it read more
