I called over to Zeimetz and found out they would put my spare on for me (60 something lady, what can I say, I never change my own tires...). They not only dropped everything to change the tire but made sure they swapped a rear tire for the flat front tire to be sure my AWD Audi would be easier to drive the 200 miles I needed to get back home! Very poor service after the sale. They were willing to please to get a trailer down the road, but…read morethe worst I've seen with service after the sale. It seems their motto is not being carried out by the current generation. I purchased a 1996 Elite LQ trailer from Joey. I went after hours to look at it. The add stated it had been through the shop and ready to go, with the exception of the AC as it was too cold out to test it. That was understandable. However when I looked at it, the black water tank was cracked and leaking rv antifreeze, the AC had a large hole in the cover, and the tires, though good tread, were weather checked on the inner and outer sidewalls. When I decided it could still be the trailer for us with a few changes, Joey and I negotiated a price which included me paying for new tires and an AC unit at his said cost. The work was completed. I asked for them to throw the old tires in the back. They would fit on my farm use only truck (wood hauler). He said he already had them going a stock trailer on his lot (lucky guy who gets that one)! Dirty, but whatever. The second trip was to pick it up. All went fine. He assured me, as well as wrote on the invoice everything was in working order. We both signed, I paid in full. As soon as I got home (2+ hour drive), I started installing a new floor, toilet, lights, trim ect....just a few cosmetic updates. The second day, I tried the fridge to keep pop cold for the kids while in the barn. It did not work. I emailed Joey immediately. I tried it on gas. Seemed to cool slightly over hours, but still pretty much room temp. Tried electric overnight, only to come out the next morning to my shop and find a burning smell. Upon inspection found burnt wires, terminal block, switch and covers. Also found mud bees had built a nest around the orfice and burner, making it impossible to run or to have been tested. Wondering why it seemed to cool slightly on gas before, knowing it couldn't have, I looked into it further. I found the knob for the selector switch stripped out, so when it was turned, you wouldn't know if it was on gas, electric, or somewhere in between. What I thought was on gas, still must have been on electric. Either way, it never got remotely cold. I sent Joey all the pictures of the problems, as well as asked him what he wanted to do. I recommended they come get it and fix it, or pay the local dealer to fix it if he preferred. He said the diagram for the unit wasn't available, and it would have to be replaced. He offered to sell me one for $600, or buy the trailer back for what I paid. I explained buying one when I already paid for one that was suppose to be working was not going to work. Said I would bring the trailer back, but would have to be compensated for all my updates ect... He said only what I paid for the trailer would be refunded. Great deal either way for him. He claims I wanted something for nothing, yet he set the prices on everything, and I paid them. I didn't want something for nothing. Just a safe trailer with everything working. What I agreed to pay for. He claims it was working, yet the pictures show there is NO way. He suggested I may have done something to the fridge? Why would I do that, just to ask him to fix it, and end up with the same thing I had? If I wanted new, I wouldn't have asked him to fix it (and yes, parts were available, though he claims it has to be replaced). He claims I badmouthed him on social media. No, I posted a truthful experience. The same as here. If it made them look bad, that is their doing. They claimed I threatened them. No....offering to take down a truthful negative review if they chose to make things right, is not threatening them, its giving them a second chance to do what's right, and clear their name by me. Saying I am willing to take it to small claims court because you signed a contract stating false information, is not a threat. it's my right. He says its 23 years old! It is. 1 or 50 years old, makes NO difference. It was sold with said, working appliances. they need to work. Buying back an updated trailer (I also sent pics to Joey right away so he knew updates were completed immediately after getting it home), for what they sold it for before updates, to sell and make more profit, or selling a fridge at cost, knowing I already paid for the one they lied about working, is not "taking care of each customer after the sale". Its making more money, or at the very worst for them, coming out without it costing them a dime. I will post pictures as well as our emails to counter any lie or claim they may have in response. I will also read any responses they have their friends write, overshadowing them with the emails, pictures, conversations, and overall bad experiences this place gives. Hard to continue a motto when it isn't put into play each and every time.
