I tried to elaborate that they are rubber O-rings that are safe to use with fuel to be told they don't sell them. No attempt to look them up or see if they could maybe be ordered. Seriously how can a motor factors not know what O-rings are or be able to supply them? Ordered them online instead, why bother trying to support local businesses when this is the level of "service" they provide.

They also do a reserve online and collect in store service which is useful. Usually helpful staff but sometimes can be quite difficult to find at busy periods. There is also a halfords trade car which you can get if you can prove you are in the car trade and this gives you up to 15% discount on car parts and tools. Free spacious car park too.

I've been going back to Ashton Autos for around 20 years and I always recommend him to my friends…read more 100% honest, he never does work that does not need doing (unlike some other garages) and his prices are reasonable. He does repairs, servicing and MOT's, and gives advance warning of necessary work, e.g. those brake pads/tyres are only good for another (so many miles). His work has always been of excellent quality too.
