Caution! Weak 3 Stars for Fast and Cursory Work!!
To start off, let me say that in no way was the quality of the job a function of the very nice and customer-focused lead man, "Will." He did all he could to get my house clean; my beef is with the process used by Prestige, which struck me as extremely rushed and cursory.
Process: From arrival in my driveway to departure, the guys were on-site for only 90 minutes. This includes setup, application of chemicals, rinsing, and storage of hoses and equipment. Pretty darn brief for a 2,300 sq ft two-story home, 100% of which is painted surface.
Cleaning: Prestige strongly touts its use of chemicals. To me, it smelled - and looked - like simple diluted bleach: nothing fancy and not a single bubble of foam - NOT ONE. In addition, it did not soak on my house any longer than mere minutes, so there is no telling how much work it actually did. Their boast of "soft wash" is simply that: an unjustified boast!
Effectiveness: As they were packing up, I had to get them to come back and address a few spots: (1) clay residue all along the bottom two or three lengths of siding had to be wiped off, and (2) a dirt stain running down the 15-foot length of one side of my chimney had to be redone to remove it.
How they got "Best Power Washer" in 2025 is a complete mystery because overall I grade them a (very) weak 3 stars. Had it not been for the wonderful second effort of "Will", I would have readily assigned them just one star and moved on.
I am pretty sure you can find a better outfit to clean your house. Heck, I may go so far as to suggest you use what they would charge you to buy your own power washer and do it yourself. The chemicals you use will be better, and your house will surely be cleaner. Their line about "soft washing" is semantics and does not really describe what they actually do; my house was blasted, pure and simple.
Oh ... and they don't show up looking very professional See attached photos. read more
