I was the only one taking the class so it went by pretty quickly. The instructor is so nice and really explains each topic well. She asks you questions to make sure you understand the content in order to apply it to the emergency situation. Her questions all help with the test at the end. She's friendly and approachable, so don't be afraid to ask questions! The mannequins have become more high tech from when I last did my BLS certification. There's an app that can measure the depth and rate you're performing your compressions. I think that's pretty cool! In terms of cleanliness/infection control, we were wearing masks. I only removed my mask momentarily when I was performing rescue breaths. All equipment was wiped down and disinfected after the course. Hand sanitizer was also available. I felt safe with the proper precautions taken. Overall, I highly recommend getting your certification done here! The whole experience was pleasant.

I contacted Take Care CPR and spoke with Denise who had me in the office 2 days later. Not only was she professional and knowledgeable, she was thorough and personable. I was a bit anxious because (it was Friday) my job started the following Monday and I had to show that I was certified, Denise reassured me and made the process on a whole, smoother. Since the other person who was supposed to do the course with me couldn't make it (due to a personal reason), I ended up with a private class and was done within 2.5hrs. I would honestly tell anyone who needs (or wants to be) certified to call Denise at Take Care CPR. Absolutely AWFUL experience. The class was good. But we were told that once we applied for a…read morelicense, the process with the board of nursing would take 3 weeks. They also stated that if we had any issues to give them a call and they will help move things along. I have checked every day for 3 1/2 months now on the NJ board of nursing sight and my application is STILL pending! And yes, I made sure everything required is uploaded. I have called the Board of Nursing at least 20 times to check on the status and to escalate the issue but still have gotten no answers, except that the licenses usually take 3 months. So lie #1 from E&S! I called E&S and left a message for a call back. I called again this morning since no one called me back. The gentleman I spoke to said there was nothing he can do, and that the people that can help me at E&S are having staffing issues so he has no clue if or when someone will call me to help. Lie #2....It seems like all they care about is taking your money. If you are really interested in going into the medical field, try another school. This one isn't worth the time or money.
