I had them too and drank them, weren't bitter at all so pretty sure they aren't coffee grounds. I also got a croissant which I would agree with another reviewer was a bit dry, possibly a day old. Somewhat limited menu which I hope they expand in the future. Paid about $13 for coffee and pastry. There is a 3% surcharge for credit card. Unfortunately seating is somewhat limited and not the most comfy. Probably a maximum of 20 people can sit inside at once with one small table outside. There are tons of outlets accessible from every seat and they even have extension cords set up for customers. It's moderate to loud and the music/vibe is more rock and grunge. Very friendly service. Small parking lot but street parking available, no time limits. Currently NO bathroom available. Free WiFi available. The coffee, maybe some coffee nibs or chocolate chips inside. The milkshake was honestly terrible. Also, the menu doesn't include any descriptions of what's in the ice cream flavors, this would be extremely helpful (especially because I don't think most would expect Cookie Monster to taste like banana).
