I had spoken to a gentleman named Jay on Facebook messenger had given me a price and asked me to call into the office to book an apointment that was convenient for me .I booked an apointment for 1pm over the phone with there receptionist . The ship or wheelhouse is located in an industrial zone in a free standing building that looks more like an office space then a tire or shop space ..there office space was very professionally set up nothing like you would expect from a tire shop but more in line with a tech company. I arrived early at 12:45 and receptionist asked me to have s seat in there lounge (waiting area) they seemed to be following all Covid protocols. After 30 minutes waiting I approached the receptionist again and asked if she had forgot about me and that my apointment was att 1pm . Her english was very poor hard to understand and not sure how much she understood me to be honest , not the best person to work your reception greeting and managing your front line customers ...anyways after approaching her she said she would be right with me . I sat for another 15 minutes and she finally approached me and had my order confused from a tire rotation instead of tire purchase what I actually required . After the confusion was settled they finally took my car into shop for the tire change ..they did the tire change fairly quickly about 15 minutes . So that part of service was great but they need a better customer service with there apointment times ...I would probably use them again .

Up until yesterday before bringing my car into Midas ONLY for the safety test it was running smooth and I was aware of a weak battery which I planned to have it replaced with my buddy the mechanic. As I was waiting Midas for my car they told me that I had to change the battery and go on about the alternator. I told I'm here for a safety test and was not looking to do anything else. They keep pushing a sales on me and I kept telling them no. There was a lady that came in before me looking to get an oil change and they kept pushing her to get synthetic oil, which cost twice as much and unnecessary. She just wanted to get the regular oil change. I felt bad and kind of wanted to say something, but didn't want to make a scene. So I get my car back after refusing on several occasions to their displeasure. The moment I drove out on the way to my buddy the mechanics shop, about 10-15 mins my car starts acting erratic. All the warning lights comes on at once. My car starts shaking while it's going into gear. Eventually I would not even go pass 10km/h, this was all happening during rush hour on a busy street, it was pretty scary. I had pull my car into a parking lot and then it just completely died. I can't start it. I called Midas back and they pretty much were like " well I told you so and don't blame it on us" kind of attitude. I told them that I've been driving this car for some time and the moment I bring it to your location my car died. It just seem very suspicious since they were so aggressive about me fixing things with them. My car is currently at my friends shop and I'm not sure exactly how much it's going to cost me to fix it now. I had to pay to get it tolled. My car is a 2012 mdx, with only 113000km on it. Relative low km. Been driving smooth and no issue other then regular wear and tear, minor things. I'm just sharing my honest experiences about these guys. I basically do not trust them and I'd never go to another Midas again! It seems like they have this very aggressive, untrustworthy sales approach there, beware if you choose to go to this location, it becomes very costly! Ps I'd give them zero stars, but that's not an option so I have to bite my tongue and give them one fake star.

Had called around to a 12 different used tire places looking to trade them in for rims that would fit my new vehicle for my new snow tires. Some said they had to see the rims first, others weren't interested cause they said there was no interest in the sizes i had, and most didn't offer a trade in option. Karl was professional, knowledgeable and friendly. Provided new and used rim options, took every one of my half dozen phone calls (and the one i called after hours and didnt leave a message, HE even called me back), answered my millions of questions, and in the end took all 8 of my old rims and gave me a trade in credit for them. When i confirmed i was coming from Oakville to trade in my old rims, buy the new ones and have him install and balance the winter tires, but might be too close to his closing time, he said no problem. When i arrived, he took me right away. Told me on the phone it would be 1hr to 1.5hrs to complete and he had it done in 45mins. I felt like i got the run around from all the other places i called, or they make me feel like i was too much trouble to deal with. But Karl was helpful and got the job done without any attitude or head ache. I would use them again, and would definitely recommend to anyone in need of auto expertise!! :)

ALL MY AFTERMARKET POWDER COAT SPIKES WERE SCRATCHED UP. PLUS 2 OF MY RIMS ARE SCRATCHED UP. If I try to go in I will prob get no where since it was done last year. That's completely unacceptable. I did not bring the rims in like that nor the bolts. 0 STARS. JUST HORRIBLE...HORRIBLE, UNACCEPTABLE.

I brought my car here for a full chrome delete package which involved paint and wrapping. They properly stripped everything that needed painting and did it VERY cleanly. I had some concerns with the wrap on the window, and rather than let me leave Frank INSISTED I leave it an extra day so his guys can COMPLETELY REDO all the window trim wraps. Suffice to say I came back the next day and all my concerns were addressed. He also did a little muffler modification and it was PERFECT. My father who has worked at an automotive company for 25+ years even complimented the cleanliness on the welds. It's been about 2-3 weeks and everything is perfect. I even had a Little Rock chip on my grill, which frank offered to completely fix for free just because he wanted his work represented properly out there. Don't hesitate to do business with Skyline, I had an incredible customer service experience unlike the other mentions. Give Frank a try, he'll do everything possible to make it happen for you.

Sure, if there's something obviously going on they will inform me about it, but there's no harrassment upselling tactics involved. :) I got a great and fair price on a new set of tires and can honestly say that I feel comfortable bringing my car here for service. Everyone I've encountered is friendly and courteous. I've had some bad experiences with different mechanics in the past, but I'm happy to have been introduced to this place. They are a little bit tucked away on Hwy 27 in Woodbridge, but they are worth the find.
