Andrew has repeatedly failed to show up for work as promised. He rarely puts in a full day's work and never shows up on time as promised. He has constantly given me excuses for his failure to deliver on time. My neighbors have complained of Andrew's inability to complete work on time even taking into consideration inclement weather condition. Consumers beware of the soft con from Andrew's. He will promise you the moon only to under perform and under deliver!!! Andrew's kept mentioning he wanted a 5 Star review.... utterly laughable!

They fixed a front porch that was pulling away from the house because of improper water drainage. They also fixed the gutters, put in French drain systems, replaced the front rotted wooden posts with painted metal posts, and made a new walkway. David repaired a rotted deck post, cleaned, and stained the deck! They are currently working on installing a stamped concrete patio in the back of the house and are giving us a walkway to the back stairs. David also does handyman work around the house like repair light switches, installing ceiling fans, painting, and any other home repair needs. David does great work, is on time, reasonably priced, and is very friendly. Highly recommended for iron work, home repairs, and home maintenance.

Workmanship has been very high quality and they won't try to sell you what you don't need. They took care to protect my landscaping during the replacement and actually left my yard looking better than it did when they arrived. Even though my house is small, I couldn't believe how fast they had my roof done! Communication was excellent - no surprises at all. Every single person from the owner to the cleanup crew was kind, conscientious, polite, and grateful. When I reached out to him he stated he was behind due to weather and promised to be out in 3 days. He still did not come or contact me and now does not even respond to my inquiries. Mr. Small pressed me for a review after only the first service, and I told him I would be glad to submit a review following the third service appointment as is my usual practice for ongoing work in order to be able to give a fair report. Now, my property is so overgrown having been promised he was coming that estimates I have obtained to restore are 3 times the price I was paying for regular basic maintenance--money I don't have. I even paid Mr. Small more than the agreed upon amount for his first two visits in an effort to show my appreciation, and he was aware that I was living without air conditioning in order to be able to pay for his services, so I don't understand why he would put me in this position of now having to pay 3 times more due to excessive overgrowth. I chose Mr. Small largely based on the multiple positive reviews and realize that by submitting a negative review I run the risk of being viewed as the 'one person you just can't please', but I just felt a strong need to relate what happened to me in all honesty. I totally understand if for whatever reason any person/business is no longer able to perform as agreed, but what I don't understand is not communicating about it, especially so that I could secure another service before having to pay extra. I am bothered the most because I just don't understand why Mr. Small would do this after promising that he would not let me down. He informed me that he would be available to come buy on a sunday between 10-12 (noon). I sent him a follow-up message via the yelp app (same day) to ensure that he still plans on arriving for our appointment. Unfortunately, he never showed up nor sent me a follow-up message that he would not show up for the appointment. I am sure he does great work and perhaps he has alot of appointments but it may be important for his business to hire an assistant and as a result I won't give him a chance for a future project.

Hope State Roofing's professionalism was beyond reproach; I am located in another state from where the work was being done, and I was never worried about them in the house; when a issue did arise, Carlos sent pictures and called me immediately to discuss resolution options--true professionals in my book. Carlos and his staff even went over and beyond to assist me with picking up the material on my behalf. In addition, he provided recommendations on paint color and flooring options that would best suit the home for resale value. Hope State Roofing's services were excellent, and the open communication channels helped create an easy working relationship between them and me. Given the size of the job, I appreciate the amount of consideration for being as cost-effective and timely as completing the project (two weeks just before the Christmas holiday). The quality of their work was superb. I highly recommend them. If I have another project in Georgia, I will hire them again and recommend them to my friends and family.
