After a few less than great experiences with the practice over the years, this last one ensures I will NEVER return.
With a locked trigger finger, I had to wait 2 months to even be seen. Starting about a week prior, I received consistent (and more than one) text messages, emails, phone calls, etc. all aimed at ensuring I'd be there 15 minutes early - which I did.
As I sat there waiting, a woman came in to find that her appointment had been cancelled because she was late. Granted, I don't know how late, but appt. cancelled nonetheless, telling me they value appointment times - in line with the cacophony of notifications I received.
After sitting for 45 minutes, I checked when I was to be seen, only to be told there was still another person to be called back ahead of me?!?!?! When I asked how this could be possible, I was met with a blank stare and ... nothing. Even an "I'm sorry for the wait" would have curbed my frustration a little. But ... just a stare. I told them to just cancel my appointment and walked out. Of course I will have to check if my insurance is billed becasue my trust of this business is gone. Will certainly update if it is. Again, this is not the first time with stuff like this.
Ultimately, you DEMAND that the patient respects YOUR time, but if you were running abiut an hour behind, perhas you should contact the patient and respect THEIR time. You OBVIOUSLY have many means of contacting us. I would not have had to leave work so early and wasted an entire afternoon because you (consistently) seem to value the needs of your business over your patients. read more
