We got a court date fast thanks to their professional work. Unfortunately the passive aggressive judge we had kicked the can down the road for another court date, eight more weeks for my minor granddaughter to be exposed to an adult stalker. Even after the first court date, Premier Parallegal showed us their support - they are human and could not believe we still had to go to another court date .They helped us to get all ducks in the row and no, I don't think that their fees were overpriced. Follow the single star reviews. They match my experience to a tee. They do not follow through, turn in documents incorrectly and overcharge for their services. They did not fill out forms correctly and filed papers incorrectly. Items had to be refiled because they did not proofread their own work. They were recommended to us and we ignored the bad reviews because of the recommendation. Read the room. 9 reviews before this, 6 - one star and 3 - five star. That is 67% bad reviews. They have no empathy for their clients and poor service. You can pay less money for much better service. They will not even consider trying to make the client feel satisfied when they underachieve. I came into premier paralaegal in Oct 2017 to file for a final judgement. By December 2017 the paperwork still hadnt been filed. "Ill call you back and let you know asap responses were in the dozens". I went to the court house myself and it wasnt until I called Dora from the clerks office and told her my stuff still wasnt filed was when it finally got done. Now i find out that the final judgement wont pass without a final spousal support order. So i need another attorney to fix their mistakes. I needed a copy of my final judgement but couldnt even get that. Ill have to go to the court and get it myself. I tried my absolute best to work with these people but got nothing in return. In response: The papers rejected were the forms your firm filled out for multiple gross errors not because anything was missing prior to that. I will gladly upload the rejection letter from the court. I also asked you specifically why it was taking so long if it had been rejected and you said no. Again i went to the court house and it was rejected in March. The bottom line is you didnt know what you were doing and ive had to do it myself and you owe me a refund. read more

This lady is a joke. I came to her needing a detailed letter in legal format and right away she requested $125.00 plus some fake fee for using my card. I was expecting a detailed elaborate letter that describes in detail several of the issues I was having, but I should have known when she took my card and displayed her long blue claws that the level of professionalism and standards is not where it should be. I got the letter back a week later and was shocked. First, I could have wrote that letter in five minutes, and I actually threw it away and went home and typed the letter myself with elaborate accuracy and professionalism in 20 minutes. Her letter was basic, looked like an eighth grader formatted it with typos and different fonts being displayed, and it listed a couple sentences of the information I gave her. She didn't elaborate, didn't write in a professional manner, she just jotted down the gist of what I explained and put absolutely no effort which clearly showed in her finished work. Long story short I should have paid the extra money and went to an actual lawyer. The other negative reviews were right. Steer clear. read more

Premier Paralegal-Unprofessional and incompetent. I retained the services of Premier Paralegal to assist with an independent adoption. We worked only with Dora Fortino. There were many mistakes and typos on the paperwork she completed and filed with the court. The adpot-200 form alone was filed once, and refiled twice more times due to her errors. Multiple documents had sections hand-written in and several documents had white out. The court may accept this, but I found it unprofessional due to the money we spent. Dora provided me with one document with a file stamp from the court. She later provided me with a copy of the same document, except the original court file stamp had been covered in white out and the document had a new court stamp with a new date. I asked her why and she said she didn't know. She got us a court date of June 1st, but the document served to the bio parent stated June 10th. The proof of service for one bio parent and the proof of a newspaper posting had not been filed with the court prior to our court date, which ended up not mattering since the dates were wrong, and the background investigation by social services wasn't done and filed yet, so we couldn't proceed anyway. Dora told us the June 1st court date was wrong, and that we didn't need to go to court until June 10th. Thank god the court clerk called us May 31st to discuss why all the paperwork was wrong or missing and told us to come June 1st anyway to ask for a continuance, otherwise we would have been a no show to our own hearing! I was told I would get a due diligence report of all the actions taken by her process server, a list of times and dates of all the actions they had taken to try and locate or try to locate the second bio- parent. I asked for it several times prior to court and she then said it wasn't needed due to a newspaper ad being used instead of personal service. Since I had paid for the process server up front and she said they had searched for the bio-parent, I requested a copy of due diligence anyway for my own records. All she would provide to me was a screenshot of a text or facebook message that she had sent to the bio-parents dad, asking for his address. She blamed the court itself for writing the wrong date on the form that she then had had served and denied any responsibility she had to verify the information prior to serving it, since it was in conflict with the court dates she had on other documents. She said none of the other docs were filed timely because the court wrote the wrong date (on only one document, and all others showed the correct June 1st date). She blamed social services for not filing the background investigation, and blamed them for delaying the report, even though I had told her, both verbally and in writing, that their process takes a minimum of 6 months and I kept asking her, why are we going to court before the investigation was completed? For these reasons I asked for a refund, since she had failed to provide the services she was paid for. She said absolutely not and I replied that I would have to contact the BBB and post a review. She became irate, yelling at me that I was threatening her, that this is what I do, I run around having her complete all this work and then once it was done, demanded a refund because I no longer needed her help and could finish on my own. She said she felt sorry for my child. I believe she continued to berate me, but at that point, I just hung up. If you would like further evidence you may contact me via email at scrabble34@gmail.com. Reading some of there reviews with 1 stars rating and people have to realise that you can't just walk into Dora office with months of mistakes that you or someone you hired created and expect Dora and her right hand woman to fix months or years of mistakes overnight.
