We heartily concur--Jonathan Wieden and Premier Painting are outstanding to work with. His team just finished a top-to-bottom interior painting job of our 2BR+loft condo in Mammoth. They also removed our old acoustic popcorn ceilings and replaced a large section of drywall that had buckled under years of snow weight. They painted every door, the bathroom cabinets, and took great care of the furniture and floors as they worked. The only surprises were pleasant ones. Jonathan's detailed quote stated that they use Dunn Edwards paint. I was prepared to pay extra for the very best quality (Evershield), and it turned out the quote already assumed that best paint. Throughout, Jonathan's crew did not cut corners. They removed all fixtures from walls before painting. Similarly, doors were taken off hinges (and locks/handles were removed) before being painted on a sawhorse. Jonathan and his crew did a wonderful job painting the outside of our newly acquired vacation home in Mammoth Lakes. The house had not been painted for at least 10 years and the paint was peeling badly. His team repaired loose boards, power washed and calked around windows and doors. They primered and added 2-3 coats for a high quality finish with no overspray. Amazing attention to detail and quality. Easy to do business with even though we do not permanently live in the area. After reading all the 5-star reviews, we hired Jonathan and everyone was correct: He is a gem! We are absentee owners so we met with him when we were in Mammoth and he did the work while we were gone. He sent daily photos of the progress of painting all the woodwork, a couple of ceilings and refinishing the wood stair railings. His estimate was accurate, his pricing was fair, he is hugely professional, and I can't imagine hiring anyone else. He even came back and fixed our guest room bed and didn't charge us. Anyone that is familiar with getting work done in Mammoth knows how HARD it is to find a reliable contractor. I had a pipe freeze and burst causing flooding and damage to my downstairs bedroom. My condo is a nightly rental so I had very limited time to get the work done. The first company that came out gave an insane quote because they knew my insurance was paying for it. I found Jonathan on Yelp so I gave him a call. He was out the next morning with a bid to me within hours. He was honest upfront with a time frame even though he knew it was 2 days longer than I was hoping. I appreciated him not lying to get the job and then having the project go longer! Everyday he was on time and cleaned up after himself. He worked the weekend to make sure he could be done in time for my renters and ended up finishing a day early!
