This place is ridiculous. I brought my son to the Premier Urgent Care for a knee injury. We arrived more than an hour before their posted closing time, and they refused to see him. They said they reached their patient limit for the day. This IS NOT an urgent care. Don't go there, especially for a child. They'll turn yoj away without a second though, regardless of when they say they're open!!! read more

I broke the radius in my left arm on a Wednesday. I received initial care the following day at an LGH urgent care center. The arm was x-rayed and splinted. I was advised to seek follow up care in three or four days after the swelling subsided. On the following Monday morning, I presented at Premier's "Urgent Care/Walk-in" at the Malvern flagship office. I was denied treatment. I've been a patient at Premier Orthopedics for many years. The practice has become unrecognizable to me and I will NEVER seek treatment there again. read more

This place is advertised as having an urgent care for orthopedics. I called and no one answered phone. Went next day as soon as it opened and there was only one other person. Receptionist asked why so was there and told me they were short staffed. I need a cortisone shot - she told me they don't "typically give those" and handed me a paper to give info to make an appointment. I told her that I drove 35 mins so if I wanted an appt, I'll go near me. I could understand if they were busy but they were not. So frustrating!! I have never given anyone or any place a negative review online. But this situation with Premier Orthopedics is awful. Trying to get through to these Premier doctors is no easy task. It is not unusual to be on hold for at least a half and hour and then it is usually longer. Then you have to wait six weeks for an appointment. I know that is not considered a long time, but when you cannot walk and you need to see your doctor , who has been your doctor for YEARS,............. too bad. Sit and rot until the appointment. Pathetic communication. They say "go to your patient portal". Why?? The web site hardly ever works. Then it does not recognize the password. It is a sad state of affairs to call this health care. It is a situation of sheer frustration. I switched my doctors from Premier because of their inability to be respectful of patient's concerns, my concerns. They lack empathy....the doctors will not return a phone call. I was even told, "how can you expect me to make phone calls with the patient load I have?" Really?? Well, you don't have to worry about me anymore because I am GONE!!! read more

Stay Away from this place...I was "referred" here by another nightmare premier doctor (Dr Ciliberti.) The morning of my appointment they call and...get this...this is actually how it was said...."Dr Potteiger didn't come in today. We have to send him a message to see when we can get you rescheduled." This is 45 minutes prior to my appointment that was an hour and 15 minutes away so yeah, I'm already on the road sitting in traffic. The complete lack of empathy was beyond infuriating. Ok, whatever...you know how it goes...you've already had to drag your genitals through broken glass to get this far along (with X-rays, various appointments, mri's etc) so unless you want to start all over, they've got you....so I wait for the call to reschedule. Now mind you, I'm in agony with foot pain...a week goes by. No call. Ok, not happy about it but I'lll call them. I go through the maze of prompts, get a woman who asked me all the exact same questions I was asked before and that were already filled out on my pre visit forms. She puts me on hold. NEVER RETURNS! At this point, my iPhone has broken the sound barrier and is sticking half out of the drywall in my living room. I was so mad. I just hung up and calmed down. Next day, no call...I call again. I get the same girl, she asks all the same damn questions.... again...she puts me on hold...after a few minutes she comes back and no kidding, asks me what body part I'm having an issue with!!!!! I've told her this literally 4 times already! At least once on this particular occasion. I lose it. I tell her I've already told her this 4 times! (I sprinkled in some colorful "conversation enhancers" in there but won't go into specifics. You can use your imagination. Anyway, I hang up. No joke, 1/2 hour later...the same girl calks me back and says "Hi I'd like to reschedule your appointment with Dr Potteiger." Like nothing ever happened!!!!!! More "conversation enhancers" inserted here. I received another call the following day. After that whole mess, I went online, found Rothman Orthopedics, made an appointment (also online) which was only a couple days out not like the weeks Premier made me wait. Went to my appointment, in that single appointment they had me caught up to everything Premier had done and the visit after that my problem was solved. read more

I went to Premier Orthopedics last week in Malvern, PA to see a hand surgeon. I was on time and was surprised to get into a room right away, HOWEVER, I saw two nurses who asked me the same questions over and over. This took at least an hour. When I finally saw the doctor, he spent literally one minute with me, told me I could have carpal tunnel but did no testing or anything and said go get an EMG. I went to the EMG doctor, who was great by the way. He confirmed my suspicion of mild carpal tunnel, but also said my bigger problem was my C-6, which makes sense because of the pain in my neck and numbness and tingling going down my arm into my hands. I went back to Premier to see the same hand surgeon last Friday. He came in and told me I did not have carpal tunnel, disputing the EMG doctor, who had done 40,000 EMG's in his career. I asked him if it could possibly be arthritis. He literally looked at my hands and said it doesn't look like arthritis. I was in so much pain. He didn't care at all. When I asked him questions about where the pain may be coming from, he said "I don't know." He didn't even care about finding out! He said he wouldn't give me a shot and he wouldn't do an MRI on my hands to even check if it was arthritis because "it didn't look like arthritis." Hurried me along so he could get to his crowded waiting room. Gave me a card to a neck orthopedic surgeon and said "if you want, you can go here" This man is a ridiculous doctor. No bedside manner, so cold, no conversation, no explanations, no interest in finding out what the problem is. It's all about getting you in and out as quickly as possible. I won't be back. read more
