Owner, Bill Wendell, doesn't practice what he preaches…read more During the time my husband worked at this school, the owner paid him with bad checks four times. That is four times that we actually took paychecks to Chase bank and they said sorry they were no good, as in there was no money there till he moved funds. Also he talks to his instructors very disrespectfully if they do anything that deviates from his processes. Do not get me wrong, I am a strong believer in martial arts and it's teachings but I think that it is equally important that those who teach those values to our precious children hold themselves to a higher standard or at least be trustworthy in their practices to all.

My son has taken martial arts for many years in the Marietta area and this place has the best quality instruction by far. Joe clearly has the expertise to be able to teach the technical skills, but he also takes a thoughtful approach to teaching about responsibility and respect. He cares about the kids and I am beyond impressed with how he has worked with us to help my son progress despite some of the physical challenges he was facing. I highly recommend coming here if you are looking for martial arts training for yourself or your children.
