Very long, stressful and expensive experience We were renting an apartment and our lease expire on October 31st/2020. On August 24, my husband contacted a senior loan officer at Premier Lending Corp; by Sept 14, the loan officer sent to my husband a a mortgage pre-approval document for up to $350.000 with 5% down payment. On October 1st, we signed a contract to buy a house with 5% down payment and closing date for October 26 ( a few days before we have to leave the renting place). I sent the contract, Inspector Report, HOA documents, Title Company information, Copy of part of the down payment, etc.to the loan officer. On October 16 ( ten days before closing), the loan officer told my husband that he (loan officer) made a mistake with the application and my husband must start the application process from scratch again; but now with 15% down payment ($31.500 more) . As the loan offcier informed us about his mistake with our first mortgage application just ten(10) days before the original closing date and just 14 days before our lease expired, and knowing that the approval for the new application will not be done in two weeks (the reminding time before our lease expired); on October 31st we had no other option but put our belongings in a storage that cost us $ 202.63 and move to a hotel room during twenty days (20) that cost us $2.039,10. The seller agreed extended the closing dates twice. On November 12, I received a phone call from the title company complaining that our loan officer was not answering their phone calls or emails, my husband contacted our loan officer about this complaints and he denied receiving any phone calls or emails from the title company officer. By November 16th, and still not knowing anything about our mortgage approval, I decided to contact the Premier Lending Corp owners, I sent them an email explaining what was happening with our application. One of them "Manny" call me on the phone and apologized for all the trouble we were going through. By November 19, I signed the paperwork and by November 20, we moved to our house. As the delay in the first closing date (Oct 26) was caused due the mistake of our loan officer with our first mortgage application, I believe the money we spent between storage and hotel, should be reimburse to us by his company. I sent them an email asking to reimbursed our money ( $ 2.241,73). Manny wrote to my husband citing that the delay happened for a few reasons such as: Covid-19( it has nothing to do as all documents were sent and sign electronically), and even blame my husband for not sending the "correct documentation". He also wrote that they discussed my petition of reimbursed our money to us with his attorney and that any false accusations or accusations not based on the documented timelines would constitute slander & libel and they will defend their position legally if a negative/untrue review is posted. In conclusion: Dealing with this company was a very long, stressful and extremely expensive experience. I recommend you to think twice and do your homework before choosing your broker, I promise you don't want to go through the same nightmare we went through. read more

We started a dialog with the goal to get the best deal and it didn't take us long to see that Manny's level of service and promises were real. Other lenders tempted us with initial unqualified offers of higher loan amounts or lower teaser interest rates and promised to match any rate. However, they didn't seem very honest or prepared compared to Manny. PLC was honest and offered us a much more favorable package that was better than the competitors.
