This is quite a nice, modern branch, with a large selection of cars outside, mainly focusing on the Auris, Yaris and Aygo with a few others in the mix. I found it fascinating to talk to the salesman about Toyota, and how cars have changed, with the Yaris becoming bigger and better, and the Aygo replacing it as the smaller car in the Toyota range. Having been with Toyota for many years now, it seems my family are toyota mad, with the large number of us having a Toyota vehicle, I was interested to see what they could offer me to reward me for my loyalty to the brand. He did show me around many cars, and we talked over a drink. They is coffee facilities here with a number of coffees and hot chocolates to choose from, my coffee was a small portion (as expected) and simply tasted a little strange, and horrible which is uncommon for coffee, especially one I had recommended to me. The staff here, as said before, did seem nice and helped to open cars outside for me, what wouldn't have been open, and we also talked about the new 65 reg plates, and it seemed the guy wasn't too pushy either which was great, I spoke to quite a few people, and although he was helpful, he understood he wasn't going to get a sale today, so just helped me with what I needed. I also found him to be very honest, which was great, we talked about cars from other brands, including the Vauxhall Zaphira, and he was surprisingly honest in giving me advice on this, and as well as trading in my current car, however he understood the low milage and even advised me to sell it privately, and also did give me a rough quote of the buying price and then the price they would sell my car on for, if they did take it off my hands. We even talked about non-related matters (to cars) including coeliac disease, which was the last thing I expected to be chatting about in a place like this! The garage is quite nice inside, with of course most of the newer, flagship vehicles including the new Yaris, which is pretty nice and they was also a good amount of Hybrid vehicles, including the new Auris. They is of course seating, with tv's, tables, tea and biscuits (sadly not gluten free), and even a kid's area. This garage is quite accessible too for wheelchairs, however it can be annoying, having to walk around a full row of cars, to cut through just past one for example, more than doubling your total journey time to look at a certain car. This is quite a nice dealership, and had a nice, modern feeling too it to, the staff seemed nice (which is very common I've found with RRG), so I do feel a rather generous 4 stars is the fairer rating for this store, although I do admit this is a little generous, and may be revised down to 3 in the near future, but I do hope to clarify the situation with a stronger 4 rating, or a 3, on a future visit, where I may decide on a test drive.

This dealership is very small, especially compared to others in the area such as Nissan and Toyota, who are also car manufacturers based around Japan. They is little to no outside space, and only a few cars inside. I found this not to be a very nice place, the outside part was bumpy, and they was cars, which had no price tag so it was hard to tell if they were actually being sold, which I guess they were, or just simply a parked car, they was some signs but it simply wasn't clear enough, and the cardboard they used, just make the car look horrible, old and dirty, and these were brand new 65 plate cars too! The salesman here seem very poor, I came in here, looking around, and they was a good number of staff, just sitting around in their office, where we could awkwardly see each other, and they basically did nothing, to get off their seat and come and help me, which is really poor customer service skills, and could stop them getting a sale, meanwhile staff at the likes of Nissan and Peugeot, have literally ran to help me, which are both within minutes of here. Most of the cars, I find to be rather big and pricey too, so I was quite disappointed with Mitsubishi, with the dealership in general, as well as the cars and the staff, so overall it is a very poor dealership and I don't think this warrants anymore than a single one star.

RRG own a good amount of garages in the north west, including a Toyota and Peugeot dealership in Rochdale alone, this one in particular is for Skoda, and is one of 2 Skoda dealerships in RRG, alongside a branch in Bolton. This is quite a nice dealership, with a good range of cars from the Skoda range, with some award-winning models including the Superb, Flagship and Octavia being stocked here, with of course the new "65" plates. Gordon was very nice, and we had a chat about the RRG group in general as well as certain cars which would be right for me, I did like the Fabia, which was quite a nice car with a decent boot, and did have some very good add-ons, including metallic paint for around £500, and a sat-nav built in for around £250, which can be 2,3,4 times that with other manufacturers such as Nissan. The inside part is quite nice, and although not as modern as Nissan or Toyota in Rochdale for example, it is still nice and is being refurbished soon, to be finished for Christmas, to get it "All Skoda's up", to quote my salesman. They is an outside part too with a good number of parking, but most of the staff as well as newer, nicer cars do tend to be inside, and you do have to pass through here to take a look at the cars outside, with them all being locked, which is understandable, and is like that at all dealerships. I was disappointed not to see any "free-drink" making facilities, which the likes of BMW and Nissan do have, and they is a few other minor flaws like this. Overall, this is quite a nice dealerships with some good cars, and really helped to change my opinion of Skoda being an older, unpopular car to quite a nice, cool car which can be competitive on the market, and is definitely one of the garages worth checking out, while looking for a car in the area. I still feel 3 stars is a fair rating for Skoda, and hopefully I'll be back soon for a test-drive, and an updated review!

This particular garage is run by Westway, who are one of the largest dealers of Nissan cars. For a dealership, it is a little small, although they is a large range of cars outside, it can make it difficult to have a closer look as they is so many, relatively close to each other, without the information you'd get inside for example, making this place a no go when it is far too sunny, or rainy, or in the snow. I was shown a few cool cars here, and the guy who helped me seemed nice, he did seem a little quiet however when speaking, and a little nervous, and he did have to check a few things, he told me he had only been working for 10 weeks, but still after selling a good amount of cars, I'd expect to see a more passionate, knowledgeable attitude from him, he didn't seem to be quite "pushy", which was a good thing, but still I don't feel I got a good vibe off him, which can effect whether you buy the car or not, so wouldn't be good for Nissan either. The dealership is quite cool inside, with glass windows and quite a nice view of the passing road, as well as offices with semi blacked out windows upstairs and a television. If the dealership was mainly inside, I would much prefer it! Nissan don't have a great guarantee, and one of the payment options is pretty weird, where after 3 years you can either give the car back or pay the rest off, so effectively it isn't really yours, with a similar guarantee which is poor compared to what is run by other companies, it seemed my dealer couldn't persuade me the benefits of Nissan's offers not being as good as other companies. They was limited parking, but I'm sure my 10 year old Toyota Yaris was a laughing stock compared to all of these new 2015 cars, selling for over 10,000. Overall, this is a nice dealership on the inside but due to a lack of stocking certain cars I was interested in, and it being not a great place outside, and considering problems with my dealer, I feel I can only give 2 stars.

This car dealership is one of the more difficult places to park at, with very limited parking, even late on a work-day, and I had to park outside, which honestly wasn't very nice or welcoming, and I do feel having parking is a must for a car dealership, meanwhile places like Toyota in Rochdale have loads of it! The main cars stocked here are probably the Insignia, Astra, Corsa and Adam, which seem to be Vauxhall's flagship cars alongside the Mokka, although they do have a few types of Zaphira, featuring both the older and newer models, including a 7 seater one, with 2 fold up seats in the boot, which gives you the option of either having a big boot, or seating more people when needed, however I don't really like this as it seems more like a van, than a car. The staff here seemed pretty nice, and they did try to find me a few free pens at Reception, where the people there are more "assistants" to the sales-people, rather than the sales-people themselves, so they were not trying to do it, to get comission themselves, so it was a nice gesture nonetheless, considering they did try to look around and find me them, I managed to get a couple of pens with the England national team logo on, with Vauxhall being sponsors. The inside part of this garage, they is a few newer cars, which I guess are the flagship vehicles, which include the Adam, new corsa, Mokka and and Astra too, with mainly the more popular and newer vehicles being inside, although they do seem to have more of these outside. The dealership is a reasonable size with a large amount of cars, and the sales-people here still seem to be nice, and did help give advise on different types of cars, and helped to show me their main features. They didn't seem to have any drink facilities, nor was I offered one, which was a shame, as this is something which could bring better sales, as it is an opportunity to sit down and talk about the cars with a client, which the likes of nearby Toyota and BMW do. Overall, this is a reasonable car dealership with some nice cars, but still it isn't the best car dealership and is of course not somewhere to come, and come alone, as always with cars it is great to shop around, as although the staff here are nice, this is probably your average car dealership, with some average, yet some poor features.

As summarised below, the "service" provided to us by Stoneacre's MG Rochdale garage in Autumn 2024…read morewas at a level way below acceptable - that has driven us to post this review. We put the points reflected in this review in a recorded delivery letter sent on 28.11.24 to the Managing Director of the Stoneacre group. Despite our chasing through phone calls (to the garage and to Stoneacre's Customer Relations team); through the business' Contact Form; and by email, we have never had Stoneacre's responses to the points below: The points arise from us having twice taken our MG ZS EV into Stoneacre's MG Rochdale garage - in October 2024 ("V1") and November 2024 (V2). We had bought the car from a dealer in Bury earlier in October - our main purpose in taking it to Stoneacre was for diagnostic tests to be carried out on the main battery (by an MG authorised dealer) within a week or two of our purchase. On both visits to MG Rochdale we provided a list of 6 or 7 items (including the main battery) that we particularly wanted the garage to look at. We provided those lists through the electronic check-in process and on a piece of paper handed over to reception when leaving the car each time: We were very surprised that the main outcome from V1 was MG Rochdale suggesting that we pay around £382 to replace the auxiliary 12V battery. That battery caused no problems of function from us buying the car until - as a precaution - we had it replaced by a different MG dealer in February 2025. After V1 it became clear that several items on the list that we had submitted to MG Rochdale (electronically and on paper) had not been addressed. After several emails and phone calls, the garage finally confirmed that the main battery had not been tested during V1. We were invited to take the car back (free of charge) for the items on the list to be completed. On V2 the garage's report was not ready at the time of taking the car away. After the report was emailed to us, it was still not clear if the garage had tested the main battery or not. Despite phone calls, emails and the letter to Stoneacre's MD, we still do not know if the car's main battery was tested on that November visit (V2) or not! If the main battery was not tested on V2, we would obviously like to know why that is the case (given that getting the main battery tested was the primary purpose for twice taking our car to MG Rochdale). If the main battery was tested on V2, why have we had no report on that / no information at all as to how Stoneacre assessed the health of the main battery in November? Aside from the specific points above, we felt that the whole set up at MG Rochdale is designed to prevent customers from having contact with anyone who can talk knowledgably about what their car's problem is / has been. For example, on V1 and V2 we asked the "frontline desk person" in what sense the 12V battery had "failed" on testing (given that we were experiencing no problems of function from it). The frontline desk person answered any requests for clarification in a way indicating that they had no real knowledge to share. It was no better when the "second line desk person" was called from the office just behind the desk. It was pretty obvious that both people were just going off the wording that had been provided to them - they could add nothing by way of clarification / insight. And we overheard other customers similarly getting nowhere when seeking clarification in relation to work that had been recommended for their vehicles. (When we did get the 12V battery replaced in February, by an MG dealer in Huddersfield, the total charge was £211.20. Stoneacre have not explained why MG Rochdale had quoted around £382 for the same job!) As far as Stoneacre's "Customer Relations Team" is concerned, they appear to have no interest in addressing customer concerns. Our complaints were acknowledged by that team in December (2024) but we have had no update (or anything else) from them since then (despite our occasional emails asking when we might hear something substantive vis-a-vis our November complaints). ... We had hoped that paying a premium for an MG-badged garage to do some important checking on our MG EV (especially getting the main battery checked out soon after we had bought the car) would buy us a more than decent service. But, as described, the "service" provided by MG Rochdale / Stoneacre has been at a level way below acceptable. And our numerous attempts to communicate with Stoneacre about this - over the last five months - have got us nowhere. Paul Cruthers +1 PS: after failing completely to deal with our complaints of November (2024), Stoneacre are now pestering us to book an MOT and service with them! (Despite our requests, they haven't bothered correcting the spelling of the surname that they are using for my wife)

Stoneacre is the main Fiat dealer in Rochdale, although unlike most car dealers nearby, they do…read moresell a variety of cars, and were recently a dealer for Hyundai, to the point where my salesman seemed to be praising them more than Fiat, and of course they still do have a small sign up saying "Hyundai" although they are now a Fiat dealer. One thing that concerns me is that this is not a Fiat garage, hence I can not be given a full, detailed explanation on the cars, as they sell too many, and of course they seem to have no loyalty to Fiat, trying to advise to buy Hyundai's instead, and his knowledge on most other cars was very poor, and it was just reading from a book, which honestly was a worse performance than children doing a school play at school. (At least they know the lines!) They do have a large outside part, with a large variety of cars, however due to mixing in parking, it can be confusing to see which car is for sale, and which isn't, and this can cause upset and confusion at times. The newer, flagship model Fiats are of course stocked inside, which is mainly the 500 series, with the 500x and the 500l being the main ones. Greenacre need to find a car company to be dealers of and stick to it, then they can provide loyalty to a certain company, and stick by it, and then they will know more about them cars, rather than stocking a wide range, to the point it is impossible to know the ins and outs, without quoting from a book. To go alongside other poor factors of this dealership as well as no drink facilities being available / offered, I do class this as one of the poorer dealerships in the area, warranting a single one star.
