The Premier Inn in Lowestoft is a no-nonsense, budget motel located in Lowestoft, just behind the Beefeater Pub. The reception and Beefeater staff were friendly and efficient and the room and restaurant were clean, if unremarkably adorned (by US standards). The property is set back off the main road and features a free car park for guests.
This location doesn't seem to participate in the 29gbp/night campaign -- my rates ranged from 57-62gbp/night during my stay. They do take their 'good night stay' guarantee seriously and will comp you for a night if you encounter any problems during your stay.
The room is equipped with basic creature comforts -- a comfortable bed, a 13" color TV with Freeview digital cable, a desk. However, travellers should bring a own travel alarm and/or your mobile phone, as the rooms have neither a clock radio nor a telephone to receive a wake up call.
The Premier Inn in Lowestoft isn't intended to be a destination in an of itself -- but, all things considered, it's an inexpensive and clean hotel to spend a few nights while in town on business or exploring the area. read more
